Hôtel Restaurant la Forestière

Friendly staff, clean rooms and a super restaurant. What more could you want ? 20 mins walk to the main beaches. A hard working team that go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special.

We had a very pleasant stay here after a short drive from Bordeaux. The room was quite big enough and the beds were comfy. It was out of season so the restaurant was closed but the reception booked us into a local restaurant in Biscarrosse Plage which was excellent. In season it could possibly get a little noisy but our stay was lovely in November. Breakfast was excellent.

We stayed 7 nights at the Hotel La Forestiere, Biscarrosse Plage, at the beginning of July 2023. The staff were very friendly and loved our classic MGC Roadster! The room and bathroom facilities were great and beautifully made up everyday. It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room so that we could have had cold water for the next day, but otherwise the bed and pillows were very comfortable and we slept very well. The breakfast offered a good selection and there was ample for everyone. The restaurant attached to the hotel was okay. It was limited on food selection but if you're eating for just one night, it was good. Biscarrosse Plage is a short walk away amongst the pine trees. A lively beach resort with many restaurants to choose from. Bikes can be hired from the hotel and cycling is easy through Les Landes. It's very picturesque and we saw some beautiful sunsets. We took advantage of may day trips out to coastal places as well as spending a day in Bordeaux. Believe it or not, we were so busy that we didn't take advantage of the pool facilities and table tennis table. Maybe next time! All in all, we had a fantastic sejours at the Hotel La Forestiere and would thoroughly recommend it for anyone wanting a good holiday.

Been staying here for the last 2 years, it’s convenient, close to the beach. The only negative thing is the pillows, not comfortable for me but that’s just me. Otherwise great place and great service.

This is the 8th year we have been coming to Le Forestiere Hotel in Biscarrosse and the quality and service have always been great. Although perhaps a little dated now the quality and service have never been better. The ONLY downside is the L’Instant Gourmet Restaurant attached to the hotel, which is over priced, unpleasant staff, and poor quality, which diminishes year on year. The main failing is understaffing and cold food, which when complained about they simply refuse to exchange or reorder. Highly recommend the Hotel and Breakfast which is a separate business to the NON QUALITY RESTAURANT.

Emplacement

Personnel à l’accueil très agréable et de bon conseil, j’ai pu obtenir ma chambre un peu plus tôt et ainsi profiter de la piscine chauffée de l’établissement dès mon arrivée. Les chambres standards sont étroites et la salle de bain très réduite, wc collé au mur, évier douche,… pour autant la vue sur là piscine est sympa, bel écran tv, coffre-fort, mobilier récent et literie confortable. L’ensemble est propre En revanche on notera l’absence de : - kit de toilette (coton tige,…) et set de nettoyage de chaussures,etc…), - pas de machine à café en chambre ou vouloir avec plateau de courtoisie - pas de bouteille d’eau de bienvenue - le parking n’est pas sécurisé par un moyen de fermeture et seulement quelques places à l’intérieur dont 2 pour recharger des véhicules électriques Il faut également noter l’absence de serviette de plage pour la piscine, non fournie non plus à la réception malgré ma demande et ma proposition de laisser une caution. L’hôtel est à 1,5kms de la station balnéaire. Prévoir d’être véhiculé si vous souhaitez vous baigner ou dîner à l’extérieur.
