Had a pleasant stay. Cheap and cheerful . Small, basic but clean room and we had a DELICIOUS breakfast. Great atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff . Was fine for us for a cheap overnight stay whilst visiting family. Large car park , Good location and surprisingly quiet at night !

Absolutely disgusting. Room had black mould on ceiling, loo seat slanted,didn't line up with pan. Loud music til 1am Saturday, bedrooms right on top of function room, Sunday wasn't much better but at least it was till only 11am fights outside of door way, had to walk through one fight to get into the building. Car park at back of property ,very dark. Carpets around venue badly stained.

A clean budget hotel that provided a comfortable couple of night’s accommodation. It is very conveniently situated opposite the train station and the staff were friendly. Would benefit from having some hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. No restaurant but we are locally about 5 minutes walk away.

Was very lucky very quiet night and room was clean and perfect for our overnight stay .You have a Sainsbury's 3 minutes away trainstaion 1 minute local chip shop 2 minutes and a lovely Turkish grill 30 seconds away so it's perfect location wise.I would have no qualms about staying again but I would look online to see whether their was a function or show on the night I'm looking at .

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel, that I've drove past a hundred times! We arrived and checked in the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and clean very good price , very on trend decor. If I had been blindfolded and walked in being told it was a premier inn I would have believed them.Bed was very comfortable and I got a really good nights sleep. We visited the bar and the drinks are good value , we played pool and listened to music. Lovely atmosphere. Nearby we visited the cambridge for cocktails. We are returning for the Caribbean day event there looking forward to live music , authentic food in a welcoming, tidy establishment. I will also visit Herbert's yard a few minutes away as we haven't visited yet.

My mum booked both of our rooms as my sister was having her 40th birthday at the hall! The manager and the sister which is a member of bar staff made me feel very intimidated and at one point had me in the corridor as I brought up the policy on data protection I simply asked how long they kept my information for. The room we hired for the party only had one door as they had the fire door exit locked with a pad lock and the door leading to our rooms had a boot on it we had to walk all the way around the venue to get back to our rooms

Arrived to the hotel, originally booked for 1 adult, but due to a change of circumstances, 2 adults and a toddler had to come. Thought it would be OK as a room for us all was the same price. Wernt allowed to have one room, so my partner went and stayed else where whilst I stayed with my child. WORST DECISION EVER! Hotel rooms are above a nightclub. This isn't advertised. Writing the review now its 23.45 and I have a wide awake 4 year old, scared of the people screaming and shouting outside, and the music is blaring. There's a fight outside the window and it's just awful. No mention of music was mentioned upon arrival. She could of told us it'll be loud tonight. We had a booking again for 2 days time, but that's now cancelled and we've booked elsewhere. We would never come back.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed in. Smelt of stale beer and disinfectant. I wish I had read these reviews before I booked. If you dont have photo ID they will still want to take your money but not let you have a room. The staff are ignorant and rude. The issue over ID is beyond logic. There is no security door so anyone can walk in off the street and go upstairs to the rooms. The only reason I've given it one star because this form is insisting, otherwise it would be NO STARS

Propped open fire doors. The bedroom window that opened onto a flat single storey flat roof did not close. Base beat music until 1am that was so loud things in my room were vibrating. As a single woman staying here I was genuinely scared to go down to reception which was in the bar.
