Got there with good expectations for the price. The staff was nice enough upon arrival. After checking in, went to elevator, which looked and felt like it had not been serviced in ages, and headed to my floor. I was honestly scared to ride one of the two elevators the entire stay due to the shaking, scraping, jarring, and abrupt stoping of it. My room was just a basic king studio, which is one of the cheapest rooms they had. Even with it being the basic option, I still expect to walk into a hotel room that the room is well lit enough get things done around the room, especially when a well lit workspace is advertised. The couch was covered in nasty stains that had not been properly cleaned. The tray on the ottoman had knife carvings in it and was covered in splatters of food and who knows what else. Most of the table top surfaces had not been completely wiped down. The toilet had not been cleaned, the toilet paper holder was halfway torn from the wall, and I found a used washcloth that was covered in makeup and stuffed still in the shower!! I called to ask for trashcan liners as there were none in either trashcans and they said they did not have any for them! I then had to go to the front desk to find out that the only ice maker was on the 6th floor, which is just information you would think would be given upon checkin. Also I had to upgrade my internet to be able to attend an online zoom meeting as there was no wired connection as advertised and it still wasn’t strong enough!
