Anandvan Resort

Extremely disappointed by the behavior of reservation desk..I have been following up for two weeks with the guy named Frank Dsa, and he din't even bother to respond to my request for quotation after making several calls to him..at last, he very rudely responded that I can look for some other property.. only when my husband schooled him on his behavior, he came back with a quotation which was beyond imagination. Their 4bhk appears for 25,000 per day (50% standard discount on 50,000) on the website but we were quoted the same for 60,000 per day (with max discount of 10%). 2bhk for 30,000 per day and an overall quotation of 4 lakhs for both for 3 days. It made us feel that these guys are not at all interested in providing the services. If this is their attitude while asking for a quotation, god only knows how they treat their customers upon arrival.

We stayed @ Anandvan resort bhandardara for 2 nights... We had a g8 time.. we have booked Garden room Lake view with private sit out... Excellent view from the room garden... Room was very well maintained even if the resort is in the hill area.. staff were very courteous and helpful... Food was excellent. Veriety in breakfast . Overall g8 experience.. keep it up team Anandvan 👍.. Monsoon will be the best season to visit

Overrated high priced not worth. I saw Instagram videos and wanted to give it a try . They charged 12k for a what they call tree top room. Small room with some balcony area , which was not cleaned. It's a dated resort , bathrooms have moulds everywhere , my 3 yr old was jumping in room we felt vibrations since it's supported with 2 iron rods, i asked them for a room upgrade at reasonable price which they did not do even when the room was available. The badminton court floor was getting painted when we went there so could not play , there was a lizard in kids play area need to be careful. Over all a very disappointing stay at exorbitant price

We had a wonderful stay at Anandvan resort for 2 nights. The experience was very good. The resort is well located at the hill top, there Is a beautiful sunset point which you can visit from the back side of the resort, the view is scenic from there overlooking the Arthur lake. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, all credit to Chef ***n and his staff who took an extra effort to personalise the dishes to our taste. We had no onion no garlic food and he made it a point to take care of it in every meals. On the first day of Navratri my husband was fasting, he served yummy Sabudana khichadi. The food was one of the best which I had in recent years. I would highly recommend Anandvan resort to everyone visiting Bhandardhara.

We drove down to Bhandhardhara from Thane which is easily a four for drive with all that traffic. It’s easy to miss the left turn towards Anandvan once you reach as the sign is inward and can easily be missed. We were booked in their tree top nest which was nestled between the trees. When it rained we could easily just slide open the door and sit and take it all in. We ate all our meals at the resort and tried a little from each selection. Everything we ordered tasted amazing. The main chef always came around and took interest in the guests orders. There’s a cute trail walk which takes you up to the top where you get a great view of Arthur lake. This trail starts around the pool area. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are friendly. Overall this was an ideal tranquil get away.

Very nice location, beautiful rooms, very good service hygienic and tasty food. Had a memorable stay will visit again for sure . Staff were very friendly and helpful. Staff also very honest and very helpful. Best room is lake view No. A5

We visited Anandvan Resort in March. The place is surprisingly picturesque, cool and breezy. Treetop rooms are nearby the reception and suitable for couples. Cottage rooms are huge and good for family with kids. There’s an indoor play area for small kids with lots of toys, badminton court, chess, carrom, table tennis, pool table. There is a small swimming pool as well. Food (both veg and non-veg) is just lip smacking and the portions are generous. The entire hotel staff is very humble & friendly. There is a staff guided short trek in the backside of the resort which provides breathtaking views from the top. Lot of scenic spots nearby too. Though these spots would be more beautiful during & after monsoon but it still provides a welcome break in the woods at this time of the year.

I didn't find it worth the spend for the New Year Package. No doubt Resort location & ambience is good, and staff is courteous, but it lacked the wow effect Special Occasion feeling and arrangements. 30th Dec Ghazal night was still better & engaging then the Live singing & DJ which was disappointing and have us the feeling of attending one of the worst New Year party attended. When people come for New Year celebrations, they expect some special arrangements Talented DJ's and some good performers not local marriage singers. Barbeque set was good but overall Food menu lacked standard, variety and taste when I compared to the price I paid for and options I had dropped and chose Anandvan for my New Year celebrations. No activities were planned for Kids or guest we have to do the sightseeing by our own only. This was the first time even after spending so much we were asked to pay for Bisleri Water they could have added charges for water as well in their price rather than charging for every bottle and making guest wait for even water or at least arrange RO water in the rooms. Mock tails which were offered free were hopeless I hope above feedback will help your ***agement to plan the future events better and don’t disappoint guest when they visit your resort!

It's a small resort overlooking Lake Arthur in Bhandardara, Maharashtra. Check in was smooth and, accompanied by a welcome drink. The hotel is on a hill, and there's a climb to the higher-placed rooms. The gardens are well-kept, and right at the top there's a swimming pool and outdoor seating, swings, and lovely views. There's one restaurant where they serve meals, though you can order rooms service, too. Breakfast buffet is adequate, with cereals, fruits, bakery, juice, tea, coffee, eggs to order, and other Indian dishes. The staff is all polite and efficient. We went in February, which is the wrong time of the year for this area. In the monsoons, the area is green and has several waterfalls. We enjoyed a boat trip to Amruteshwar temple on the Arthur Lake.
