Tuna Bay Island Resort

My husband and I stayed for 2N/3D in Perhentian Tuna Bay Resort. This was our second time to visit Perhentian islands. Everything was very well managed. We took the snorkeling package with airport transportation. 1- The airport pickup went smooth 2- The welcome at the office to take the boat was very welcoming 2- The boat trip was good 3- We booked the beach front room. It is stunning because it is directly next to the beach 4- snorkeling next to the main beach of the hotel is beautiful reef. lots of fish and look for the clown fish family in the anemone. 5- The food is good. It is so much better than the other resort we stayed in . And they are very helpful in the restaurant. The rooms are clean 6- the two snorkeling trips were good We swam next to the green sea turtles, We saw more than one shark while snorkeling in the shark point. A lot of reefs to swim and see a lot of fish Only one negative thing is the poor wifi . You can only have wifi connection in the restaurant. I would like to thank the management of the resort for making this trip an unforgettable one.

Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return. We stayed 3 nights but will be more next time. You are right on the beach and it's great for snorkeling over the coral. The rooms are basic but clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming with the exception of one. Very easy to get to the small island if you want more nightlife.

The worst hotel in Malasya. We could not sleep all the nights because there are generators next to the rooms. The noise is so loud. The staff never try to give any option and a good holiday was horrible. I advise you dont book it if you want a relax holidays. El peor hotel de malasia. Las habitaciones están al lado de los generadores de electricidad y el ruido es horroroso durante toda la noche. No pudimos dormir y el staff no nos dio solución. Pagas una pasta para ser malasia y el trato fue horrible. Os sugiero no reservar este hotel

The setting is amazing and the diving excellent. The snorkeling right in front of the lodge beach was teeming with a large variety of species. Food in the restaurant was outstanding. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms adequate but suggest going for sea view as we were stuck in a room in the back corner of the lodge which was near the generator.

Absolutely an amazing location and among the best snorkling I have ever done. However the rooms are really outdated and a lot of the staff is super unfriendly! Luckily we had Ina! She made our stay. She was so lovely, so friendly and accommodating. We’re vegetarians and she arranged a lovely meal for us twice a day! We booked a beach front deluxe cottage. We got number 6. We literally walked out onto the beach and had a magnificent sea view. They should really have some more sunbeds though. It’s rather annoying to pay 100ste/ night for a very basic room and then to sit on the sand on top of it due to the lack of sunbeds

Perfect stay for a couple of days. Especially the rooms with a sea view. Personel are very friendly and kind to support and very good restaurant with great selection of food. Rooms are fine, Good shower.

This is a fabulous place . We were a group of 8. 4 adults and 4 teenagers . Rooms basic but perfect and spotless . Staff very friendly . Beach lovely and snorkelling very good . Food was really good quality . Breakfast very good . Only downside was trying to get a sun lounger . People leaving towels out overnight . We got water taxi to perenthian island resort to snorkel with turtles and also to long beach to have lunch .

Fabulous outlook across the water. Great value. Good pizza. Satays we’re really good. Very friendly service. Lots of fans for cooling. Restaurant is set above the sand and nicely decorated. We didn’t stay at the resort itself but visited the restaurant twice

We recently spent five nights here, in a sea front family chalet. Although the area seems to attract more visitors, little else seems to have changed since I visited around ten years ago. We found this a perfect place to spend some days relaxing, between visiting Taman Negara and Singapore. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the restaurant serves good food at a reasonable price. The Seven Seas office in Kuala Besut, where we collected our boat tickets, can also provide shared transport to Khota Bahru airport.
