Stayed 2 nights here in March when in Berlin for a weekend. The place is a 3 star hotel and that's what you're getting. The rooms are fine, the beds are fine, the bathroom is fine. It's not a high luxury space so don't expect that when you go. It was a place to pause and sleep for me and that's it. Breakfast was decent. The breakfast room is on the top floor so you'll get a nice view over the old Tempelhof airport. Selection was good for both food and drink, albeit Germany as a country still hasn't quite got how to do "English Breakfast" tea. Location is decent, 10 min walk from Tempelhof U+S Bahn station which means you've got a lot of options of where to go transport wise. Taxi to the airport when I had to go at 4.30am was about 55 euro but during more reasonable hours, I'd use the public transport. There is a Rewe supermarket nearby which is ideal for picking up food stuffs (chocolate, etc.) for presents because the cost will be substantially lower than the duty free. Overall, I'd use this hotel again should the need arise. The staff were friendly and informative, they spoke English when I was so tired that my German failed me and the room was not spectacular but it was comfy.
