Safestay Berlin Kurfurstendamm

I strongly discourage booking at this place. The low ceilings are uncomfortable for anyone taller than 170 cm. The stairs posed a significant challenge for my elderly mother. When I attempted to cancel due to these issues, my request was refused. What's worse, when I raised concerns about the high stairs, their response was, "Why didn't you read the reviews?" Additionally, the rooms were cramped, old, and lacked comfort. I received a 25% discount voucher after payment, but it was rendered useless as my booking was already confirmed. Sound insulation is poor, making it easy to hear neighbors. The breakfast consistently fell short, and staff, though friendly, couldn't compensate for the overall lacking quality. Considering the high cost, it's advisable to invest in a 4-star hotel for a more pleasant stay as the only good thing about this hotel is the location. To top it off, I was asked to pay 3 euros per person for luggage storage until 5 pm upon check-out, which felt like an unreasonable request after spending nearly 500 euros for a 2-night stay. The hotel is very well located in the west part of Berlin, close to a metro station and in a clean and apparently safe (at least so I felt) commercial area of the town. I booked a family room for four, not the apartment, and it was very spacious and clean; just the bathroom was a bit small. I did not have breakfast as there are plenty of opportunities just down the road. Just the building's internal stairs are a bit old, but overall, it is a great value for money.

I used to go to this hotel under the previous management of Comfort hotel Auberge. I find the change hasn’t spoilt the good taste and comfort of the house. The prices are under the average for Berlin these times and the staff is very friendly and professional. I specially appreciated Daniele’s efficiency and cordiality at check-in, check-out and breakfast times.

Great location - very easy to get in and out of the city centre by bus/underground and the night bud stops very close if you’re going to clubs etc Spacious room with wifi available,also a good fan in the room as we were staying during 37 degree temperatures Friendly staff, very accommodating and a decent breakfast selection Definitely recommend to travellers for short stays, booked very last minute for a better price than a lot of hostels

This was a great option for three guests (couple and an adult child) and a week long stay. The rooms are small but have everything needed. The shower was wonderful - nice hot water and good pressure. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a lovely spread of breads, cereals, meat, cheese, eggs (hard boiled & scrambled), jams, sliced cucumbers, yogurt, etc. - more than ample to start the day right! Lastly, the location is perfect. No more than a block or two to restaurants, subway. grocery stores, Ka De We dept. store, etc. We enjoyed the Christmas market nearby. Downers - limited selections on the TV (doesn't have Netflix or other streaming options with Roku) - would have been nice but wouldn't have used much anyway.

This is a very old hotel and requires taking the suitcase at least one floor by yourself, location is great.

Very good value for the money. Didn’t paid much, so it was very valuable. Good location, nice staff and overall good

Clean and friendly stuff

Wir haben dieses Hotel über die Buchung gebucht, es sollte ein Apartment mit zwei Doppelzimmern sein, wir kommen in htl an und sie geben mir ein normales Doppelzimmer mit einem sehr kleinen Badezimmer. Ich gehe zurück zur Rezeption und sie sagen mir, dass der Kollege einen Fehler gemacht hat, aber leider haben sie keine anderen Zimmer zur Verfügung, jetzt ist mein Partner ein "schwerer Schläfer" und ich muss schlafen, also bitte ich um ein anderes Zimmer oder um eine Rückerstattung wäre gegangen. Sie sagen, dass sie keine anderen Zimmer haben und wenn ich gehen wollte, gab es keine Probleme, aber dass sie nur 50% des gezahlten Betrags zurückerstatten würden, weil dies die Regeln sind. Auch 18 € Frühstück, das ich nicht haben werde, ist nicht meine Schuld, das wird auch nicht erstattet. Jetzt sage ich, aber man zahlt für eine Sache, du gibst mir eine andere und du erstattest mir nichts??? NULL Ernsthaftigkeit nicht zu empfehlen ... Lesen Sie die Bewertungen, sie haben dies bereits mit anderen Leuten gemacht ... es stinkt ein bisschen nach Betrug, wenn niemand etwas sagt, ist alles in Ordnung, sonst stehlen sie immer noch Ihr Geld, Ihr kostenloses Zimmer und 50% der trotzdem verdientes Geld. Ich habe die Buchung über dieses falsche Verhalten informiert, ich hoffe, sie werden von der Website geworfen.
