Ardmore Guest Farm

Really nice cottages, with fireplace and a great view. We where in the honeymoon cottage, this has a nice atmosfeer. The bed was nice and comfy. People are very friendly and have nice stories of the place and good tips to do or go see.

This was our second time as a family at Ardmore, and we already can't wait to return. Everyone you meet at the farm is so friendly and welcoming. It is such a relaxing and comfortable place that it seems a shame to leave the property- but we did have a great time quadbiking with q company not far from Ardmore. That and a few other recommendations were all valuable inputs we received from Jason, who was thoughtful and considerate to our needs throughout our stay. Our kids loved the trampoline, table tennis and pool tables, and we loved the food, library and fireplace in our cottage.

What an incredible place. The food was exceptional (huge portions!), the service and friendliness of the staff were amazing and if you have little kids, there are a lot of farm animals for them to look at. A very relaxed environment with activities to do on site. It is also situated close to all the places of interest in the central berg. We will be back!

We enjoyed two nights at Ardmore over the past long weekend. What stood out for me the most, was the amazing management team, who together with their staff, made our stay a very pleasant one. We were on a bed and breakfast package, and were very happy with the assortment on offer for breakfast. On Easter Sunday, they made the day a very special one, giving us Easter eggs on our breakfast table, but also supplying plenty of Hot Cross buns. They had also prepared a special three course dinner that evening, but sadly we had to leave. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, which we found to be delicious and well priced. Our other evening, we braaied. We stayed in Ardmore Cottage, a very quaint residence, with a lovely updated bathroom. Go for a weekend or even a week. You won't be disappointed.

i was looking for a peaceful soulful place to take my sister and Ardmore gave us all that. From arrival everyone was friendly/helpful and checked up on us that all was in order. Rooms were wonderful and big and airy. The homely feel to Ardmore is more than you get at most resorts. Its centrally situated to all other berg activities so when we felt the need to wander around it was all close by. I am already wanting to book another trip[ and highly recommend this beautiful venue

Hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. Room and bathroom clean. Bed very comfortable. Gravel road to property was not expected, need some work. Breakfast was great. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nice place, quit but enough activity nearby. People give you a very warm welcome and even the animals greet you. Nice place for our last stay before going home, relaxing bar, swimming pool and tips for other activities.

Amazing place! They seem to have everything you need - and more. Our kids were constantly engaged - games room, bikes, grand piano, gym, pony rides, trampoline, pool...and our fussy eater daughter ate everything voraciously! The views are spectacular, the cottage was a dream (I loved using the inglenook and it even has a jacuzzi in the bath!) and the staff were extremely conducive and helpful. Jason advised us on so much to do while in SA, which we followed pretty much to the letter and enjoyed immensely. He also suggested and served wonderful bubbly and wines. Ross also looked after our every need with a beaming smile. We will be back. I must say again...the place is amazing!

This was a lovely getaway. The farm is situated in a great area with beautiful views and close to Monks Cowl for longer hikes. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need (special shout out to Ross and Jason). I went for the half board option and really enjoyed the choice of food at breakfast and dinner. During breakfast, the owner even plays the piano - what a treat. I'll definitely be back.
