Bergamo Inn 43

Великолепный отель! Это лучший отель где нам с женой приходилось бывать, великолепная архитектура внешне. В самом номере высокие потолки и очень чисто, свежий ремонт!

Lovely room, comfy beds, great view, spotless

I booked 2 rooms. We travelled with a small business group so we had 1 single room and 1 double room. First of all - for 1 room I haven't received the code to enter the room - I had to call and ask. What is worst - I enered the room at 23;30 and my room WAS NOT CLEANED AFTER THE PREVIOUS GUEST. no reception, no phone numbers answered. Certainly I had to leave the Bergamo INN43 and look for another hotel around at night. I wrote the message to the office and certainly no ANSWER. When I called - the unpleasant lady was surprised... but NO WORD - SORRY, APPOLOGIZE ETC. After few hours I got a standard reply that they will give back the money for the room I COULDN'T use. What a recompensation - for my time and trouble???? Of course they blocked the possibility of placing the opinion. EMBARRASSMENT. I will never go there!!!!!!!

I booked this place long before staying when Covid was bad so having a contactless check in seemed ok. It i sn’t. There is no one to deal with any problems and their attitude is poor when they show up the next day. On arrival you are greeted by a pitch black corridor with no lights on until you enter it. There could be someone in it waiting but you can’t see at all. The room was hot when we arrived in the afternoon and the air conditioner was off. We turned it on but the air conditioner was very weak and unable to cool the room. Their response was you can set the thermostat to whatever you want and it blows cool air if you stand under it so what’s your problem. It just couldn’t cool the relatively large room. We had to open the window to cool the place down at around 11 PM after being tired of sweating and calling them. The tv didn’t work properly either but I didn’t even attempt to deal with them on that. After one night we just left and went elsewhere.

The Bergamo Inn 43 is in a great location, the room was spacious and well-equipped, and the space very clean. There were a few growth areas to note: - the pre-check-in took a few tries as the system required an Italian tax id# which I don't possess -we only received refills on our coffee capsules one of out of two days -we ran out of toilet paper the last day - we thought reception was supposed to be onsite but we never saw anyone (had a couple of questions) -we couldn't leave our bags at the hotel while we explored before our departure flight (no one to ask about this because the staff wasn't available over the weekend to respond to questions onsite or via telephone/email

Checkin is a real issue.The link they send doesn't work, you have to call, receive another link, complete a lot of information, finally you recive the access code that doesn't work, call again....So, my vacation time remain shorter.

Located in the lower town, but only 5-10 minutes walk from the funicular up to the high town, there is a lot to like at Inn 43. Rooms are modern, well equipped, spotlessly clean. Good wifi signal, comfortable beds, smart interiors. There is no bar or restaurant, but there is a nice coffee shop immediately below where you can get a good breakfast for 9 euros. Slightly annoyingly the front desk was not manned until 3 pm on the day I checked out, so no place to store cases and nobody to help out with taxis (although we got an Uber in less than 5 mins). Some travellers might feel it is less secure that a hotel, as there is not the number of staff you find in a hotel.

Good stay, very high tech accommodation. Located in the center of a beautiful city that you can explore by foot.
