Mr & MRS Smith Paradise Road Villa Bentota

This hotel was the final destination of 6 hotels during our tour around Sri Lanka over a 10 day period and it was perfect for a couple of days relaxation at the end of a busy wonderful holiday. Beautiful grounds, fabulous room and a hotel full of such character, we couldn't have asked for more. Loved the train which runs through the grounds! Such fun and not obtrusive so don't be put off by it. Stunning beach with wonderful sunsets. Staff amazing! Can't do enough for you! Loved this hotel and would definitely stay again

What an extraordinary experience with The Villa bentota by KK Collection! I had my destination wedding in Villa bentota and I have no words to describe how amazing the whole experience has been. From the beginning, Mr. Kalpa was incredibly helpful and very kind when it came to wedding planning related to the villa. As me and my husband was living in Paris, we were abit worried when it came to logistics, planning, the vendors etc but the staff at villa bentota never made us feel worried about any of it. On the wedding day, they had everything planned perfectly and so smooth, every guest felt so comfortable and felt taken care of! Every single staff member were kind, helpful, friendly, and most importantly proactive! The villa itself is a masterpiece and it is the perfect place which paints the Sri Lankan culture, architecture and the beauty, effortlessly! I 100% recommend Villa bentota by KK collection! Bravo to the team!

Had the best time at Villa Benthota. Although we stayed for 1 night the hotel contacted me closer to the date of arrival and offered an upgrad to the Mohotti suite which was a bonus! Overall the staff were very kind and attentive and the hotel was well maintained...you could sometimes hear the train as the property was bodering the tracks but that didn't bother us as the property had a well maintained foot path to the beach across the tracks. In a nutshell we had a fabulous time at Villa Benthota. Will definitely come back!

Superb staff and customer service and lovely food. Grounds and buildings are brilliantly kept and access to the beach is quiet and private. The train proved to be a lovely feature. The beach is quiet and the sea warm. We loved it and will return. Chamod and Niluksha made our stay.

We stayed here for three night in the middle of February and it was so relaxing the food was very nice loved the room slept very well. The staff was very nice couldn’t do enough for you it was nice and quiet until the train came past which I loved. Will come back

Our recent stay at Villa Bentota will stay with us forever. It was one of those places that hit every single high note for what we wanted. It is the embodiment of heritage boutique - the design and architecture by Geoffrey Bawa is unique and delivers interest wherever you turn.  The service is outstanding. It is clear everyone works as a team and strive to ensure guests are happy and want for nothing. All Villa Bentota personnel were professional, friendly, attentive and efficient. They appeared to take great pride in being employees of the hotel. Our room, suite 4, was delightful. Roomy, clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. We loved our huge balcony overlooking the gardens, coconut palms, and of course, the railway line. Loved the railway line - a real feature! The food and drinks, and accompanying service, is excellent. Yes, you pay a bit more for the restaurant meals and bar drinks, but everything about Villa Bentota is an experience and the rewards are in the staying there. Breakfast is fresh, great in variety, and prepared to order. My wife is coeliac and was provided with gluten free bread and all meal ingredients were carefully checked before being served. Ruwan and his food and beverage team were wonderful, with incredible attention to detail at all times. Thank you to the whole team at Villa Bentota. You made for a very memorable stay.
