3rd time staying Almafra, each time it has been fabulous but this year the entertainment has excelled. The new outdoor stage and bar area is brilliant, Carl the entertainments guy was amazing, enthusiastic, catered for all. The rest of the team were great but Carl had two days off and we all commented how much we missed him! We made an effort to go to the outdoor area most evenings after visiting surrounding areas. Best yet! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hope things remain the same for our trip again next year!

3rd year in row we’ve visited for our summer holiday. The new pool, bar and stage arrangements are fab with some great nighttime entertainment on; so much better than previous years. Carl the entertainment manager is the best addition, high energy, funny, makes a real effort and works tirelessly. Brilliant just brilliant

We have been to Camping Almafra many times, but this year was definitely the best. The changes made to the entertainment were definitely needed, a brilliant improvement. All staff were fab, but Carlitos made our holiday! He was amazing!!!

CAMPING QUE NO VOLVERÉ NI RECOMIENDO. Decepción absoluta!! Ni por asomo es un camping de 5 estrellas!! Nos sentimos totalmente estafados por las fotos y descripciones de su web. NO HAY TOBOGANES. Cogimos este camping expresamente porque tenía 3 toboganes. Chiquititos, pero perfecto para nuestros peques. Cuando llegamos no existen... Se ve que los quitaron por alguna normativa que NO cumplían... De donde no los han quitado son de las múltiples fotos de anuncios y web...UN TIMO!!! HORMIGAS POR TODO EL BUNGALOW. Hemos tenido que reiteradamente quejarnos de que teníamos hormigas por todo!! Almohadas, sábanas, muebles de la cocina, sofá...un horror!!! Solución? Un bote antimosquitos...perdona???ABSURDO PISCINA=CIUDAD SIN LEY. El socorrista es intermitente..hay días que está y otros que no está. Por lo tanto, los extranjeros pueden hacer partidos de waterpolo, estar con hinchables, tapar los chorros. NADIE LES DICE NADA!! vas tú un día con el rosco y vamos..... Qué está prohibidisimo. CERO ANIMACIÓN EN JULIO!! Llegar en pleno julio y, además de obra en la piscina (super lógico), lunes y martes no hay animación de ningún tipo........ CAMPAMENTO DE FUERA VIENE A LA PISCINA. Esto ya alucinante...entran niños de fuera, de un campamento externo a bañarse, gritar y salpicar a los que hemos pagayoor nuestras vacaciones. Si no están en la piscina, se van a las parcelas vacías a hacer juegos...si te toca frente a la tuya, te aguantas!!!! INCREÍBLE PERO CIERTO. PRIORIDAD SI NO ERES ESPAÑOL. Y por supuesto preferencia las absurdeces de extranjeros (normalmente británicos) todo primero en inglés, banderines ingleses, comida típica de ellos... DECEPCIÓN ABSOLUTA, CON TODA LA OFERTA QUE TIENE ALICANTE, ES PARA NO IR.

Luxury bungalow was a standard cabin. TV was intermittent with channels, AC was nice and the mattress in double room was nice. Bed base was cheap metal frame not attached to the floor. Room around the bed was minimal so you had to climb on bed from bottom of bed, hence why it should have been fixed to the floor. That's the good bits! ANTS, ANTS, ANTS! I know we are in Spain, we live here, and expected 1 or two. Sink crawling with ants, ants in the shower room and in the lounge. Not exaggerating but probably at least 3 to 400 ants in total in the Cabin. We bought our own ant powder as needed them gone. Only on last day of 4 days, noticed they were gone (dead). Pool area had building work so no slide for kids on a park or in to the pool. We were not told about this even though we had booked since late February. NO correspondence at all. I have sent 2 emails regarding my complaint and heard nothing. That is why I have resorted to a bad review. Kids entertainment was non existent and the family entertainment manager, must be doing it for free, because he wouldn't get paid from me. We got recommended this camp site. We will not recommend it as it should not be a 4 star campsite. Very very poor customer service except 2 maybe 3 members of staff both on reception and bar.

We have just got back we stayed on plot 321, what can I say it was absolutely amazing, fully equipped with everything you need it was like home from home, all rooms where spotless clean bed linen and clean towels also on arrival, the owner is lovely and very accommodating always on hand to ask her questions regarding where is nice for food etc. Staff and terrace is fab again spotless I would highly recommend and on my stay I’d give it a 5 ⭐️

Just got home from a fabulous week with my family. We stayed in one of the 2 bed bungalows. The accommodation was lovely, clean, comfy beds, all the amenities you could need. The site is immaculate, staff fabulous. Pool great, bar and entertainment great. Really good for children of all ages. My children are 9&10 and they have had the time of their lives! Made loads of friends. Short taxi journey into Benidorm centre (€12) We went in to the old town, LOADS of bars and restaurants, the beaches are beautifully clean. We went in to the old town which is beautifully Spanish, we’ve had a ball. Will definitely be returning to Camp Almafrá. A HUGE thanks to Tom who kept my children and all the rest of the gang entertained. Sophie was a star also. Food fabulous! See you all soon! Love Susan, Helen, Oliver and Mia ❤️

Recently brought our caravan to this site and love it,great pool area lovely grounds which are very well kept,lovely staff and the food is excellent and as are the drinks which are both very reasonably priced, very happy we chose this resort.

Like a telly series - classic Benidorm 😆 C5 really need to film on this site, it's exactly what you'd expect on a site full of ex pats. This isn't negative, they were mainly a very friendly lot (our neighbours were veteran visitors and really helpful) but it does very much feel like it's "their" site. Facilities are good, clean loos and showers with plenty of loo roll (never guaranteed on a site) Staff were friendly, in particular the bar manager Sophie/Sofia? who is very professional and welcoming. The pool area is excellent for a site and the bar serves 3 beers which all taste the same and come with a frothy head (ahem) but, on a hot day, who cares? Supermarket is poor but there's a Lidl down the road and very cheap fuel. In short, if you love people watching on a well equipped site then go for it!
