Best to avoid courtyard room. We chose this room before there is a queen and a single bed. However, the single bed was a rollaway bed, which is not so comfortable. The train tracks are just right behind the room, which can be quite noisy in the morning. The fittings are a bit old, in particular the ceiling lamp, which were made up of one warm white light bulbs and two daylight bulb. Sound proofing was bad that you could hear kids running around outside the room. The worst is the plumbing, you can never get the right temperature for the water, and unluckily our neighbor decided to take shower at 2:50am and the squeaky sound from the tap was loud which freaked us out. The service was ok.

I was very impressed by this hotel. The hotel receptionist is verry pleasant and welcoming. The room was absolutely beautiful and the hotel is located close to the cbd. I especially loved its proximity to the lake. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

We only stayed one night at this property, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is directly across the street from the beautiful lake which was a great spot to watch the sun setting. The room was spacious and clean, and we had a car spot directly outside the room. There is a restaurant there which serves breakfast and dinner but we did not try it. The lady working at Reception in the evening when we checked in was really lovely, and was the same lady first thing in the morning when we checked out, so props to that lady! Great hotel!

Reception did not show interest and slow to respond to my presence without greeting me. The room was very old with no room light. Only bedside lights. The kitchen area had no light and no toaster. The aircon has a bearing noise. The door was very hard to secure needing a hard shove.

Bathroom needs an update, as it is called a family room, perhaps a hip bath with shower, to make it easier access for older guests, also basin is used as sink/basin could be rethought, basin in bathroom & sink for kitchen area, TV placed on wall… too low on sideboard. Plus a mirror in bathroom. Room was clean, we were in the older part of the hotel, not what was pictured on the web site. Clean towels were changed each day.

We chose exec king bed room 2nd floor overlooking lake, can say, very good accomodation, large room, modern bathroom ect, all clean and tidy and very good price. Rooms not serviced on sundays, so if you need any extra’s go to reception and ask. Probably should be serviced on sundays which most other hotels we have stayed at do. Staff were really nice and friendly, easy going and easy to check in. Had the breakfast one morning, $25 for buffet, not a great choice for the cost and no choice if you only want continental, still $25, but that was our choice to do the breakfast thing which can be hit and miss at some places. The accommodation part was great and in a good position for us with the lake over the road to walk around. Have stayed in this area a number of times in the past and also sometimes at this hotel, we would stay here again and would recommend the hotel We were very happy with our accommodation.
