I came here with a couple of friends for 4 nights. I was on the 7th floor with amazing views over the sea. The rooms are a really good size, with big balconies and cleaning was fantastic. Everywhere in the hotel is kept spotless, from the gardens to the dining room, staff work hard to do so. A couple of highlights for me was the adults pool, it was quieter and relaxing with plenty of sun beds and also the food was tasty, fresh, great quality and a huge selection for each meal. Staff were constantly ensuring there was plenty available. There are numerous drink stations around the hotel so you can help yourself to water, tea, hot chocolate etc, beer, wine, juice and so on and a good choice of drinks at the bars. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel and would love to return in the future.

Me and my partner visited this hotel at the end of October and I was so happy with our value for money! This was a slightly last-minute trip and I couldn’t have picked a better hotel for our trip. I have never visited Benalmadena before, but I was thoroughly impressed by the location of the hotel, and the surrounding areas. The hotel has 2 beaches located within extremely close range of the resort (literally a 20 second walk out of the back of the hotel for the first beach and roughly a 3/4 minute walk to the other). The hotel was not far from shops, bars, restaurants etc, and we always had something to do! As we wanted to experience Benalmadena a bit more as it was our first visit, we walked everywhere. It is a great way to visit attractions (the marina, Parque de la Paloma etc). Parque de la Paloma was roughly a 15 minute walk from the hotel, with the marina being about a 45/50 minute walk. You can catch a bus to different places, with the stop not being too far from the hotel (about a 5 minute walk). The food and drink was great value for money, we feel as though for a 5 night stay we definitely took advantage of the all inclusive package. Good range of drinks at the bar. Your wristband does get checked when ordering alcohol, I’m assuming to prevent other boards (full board, half board etc) from going up to the bar and ordering drinks without paying, and to possibly prevent alcohol being given to people wearing a different wristband. The bar staff were friendly, as were the restaurant staff. Even though it was the end of the season, they were all friendly and happy to help! I’d say a little goes a long way with the language, even just communicating some Spanish is greatly appreciated and being able to order food can also come in handy if you want to practice your Spanish. The facilities were great, rooms lovely and clean and the cleaning staff were lovely and super attentive we found. We were very lucky with our view from our balcony. I asked for a lower room balcony room as I am not the best with heights, and found we still had a great view of the resort, the sea, and the sunset and sunrise. A tip for anyone thinking of booking, it is a bit iffy with the weather at the end of October/early November as that’s when the season comes to an end. Booking in the summer months would be best for the hot weather! The hotel also had great facilities for families as there was lots of children orientated facilities (kids club, kids pool, entertainment etc). Overall a brilliant hotel and i’d recommend to anyone thinking of booking!

This is a very good family hotel and deserves praise for its overall cleanliness and very reasonable food which is more than adequate. However there are a couple of major issues one of which has been around for quite sometime now and that’s the smell of sewage that occasionally creeps into the hotel - it’s not pleasant. It’s been mentioned by quite a few people over the last few months and it appears that nothing has been done to eradicate it, which is appalling. The second major issue is that during the evening, from 6.30 onwards, there is only one bar open in the hotel for all the guests and the bar is frequently under staffed to a point where a long queue forms for people to get drinks. This is not good enough in an all inclusive hotel. The hotel is really missing a trick here because there is a perfectly adequate bar outside the back in the gardens with plenty of seating, but it shuts at 6.30 whilst it’s still warm and sunny in that area. Having said that the rest of the hotel is more than adequate the rooms are modern and clean. The towels are refreshed everyday as well as clean and comfortable beds. There is enough hanging space in each room with air conditioning and a safe, at no extra charge. The hotel is a bit on the remote side for those who like to explore but there are bars and restaurants within a 10 min. There are plenty of Sun beds and loungers about although there is a restriction on when they are available to restrict open reservations. We never had any trouble finding a couple to suit us at around 10.00 in the adults area. Would we go back, probably not due to the smell and lack of choice for a bar.

We visited here for 5 nights at the end of May, prior to our holiday I had emailed the hotel asking for a room close together as we were travelling as a family on different bookings, a cot for one of the rooms and informed them of my sons dietary needs (coeliac disease) On arrival I was handed a gluten free menu for me to complete and hand into the resturant, our rooms were next to each other and one with a cot as requested (Amazing!) The hotel is large and takes getting used to finding your way around, it was spotlessly clean! Aircon in the room isnt very good, once reported to reception it seemed to work a bit better but did trigger some sinus issues! Front desk, bar and resturant staff are so friendly and helpful, they really do work hard. The children and daytime entertainment is questionable, the staff seem to have more fun with each other than the guests. The food is okay - most meat served was overcooked or burnt. However, the chefs went above and beyond for gluten free requests. They made gluten free pancakes for breakfast, a baguette for lunch and then an evening meal and pudding which my son thoroughly enjoyed. He could also eat some items from the buffet and ice cream/crisps at the pool bar. The pool areas are good but are very slippy when wet, we witnessed a lot of people falling over and hurting themselves. Very good choice of drinks, there was a que in the evening but it didn't take too long to get served. Water and hot drinks is accessible all day from the machines and self service drinks machines at meal times Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations, we had a great holiday and would definitely recommend staying here!

Not long returned from this amazing hotel. Visited with my sister and niece. 2 of us had just celebrated our birthdays so was looking forward to a nice holiday together. On first impression was amazed. All was very excited everything was looking great. Had a sidesea room which had great views. Maybe felt a little small for 3 adults but we muddled by and got on great. First meal there was lunch and omg what a great choice of food. We were going to book the Al carte but after seeing the choice on the menu after eating in the buffet restaurant we decided to give it a miss as there was always so much choice and all our meals were lovely . Drinks always good. Only queued for 5 minutes at most. You could have 2 drinks at a time so did that so as not to que to often. We were a little disappointed with the cocktails as they were pre-made. But on reflection the staff were so busy every night they wouldn't have time to make fresh ones. Pina colado seemed OK sometimes very strong. entertainment guys were very friendly and welcoming. They put on great shows and worked very hard all day. Its a shame not many joined in with some of the daily activities. But it's not everyone's ideal holiday thing. Sunbeds were comfy. Views were amazing. Pools seem to cold for me but had a few dips when I was too hot from the lovely weather. All in all we had the most fab week the staff were all great in every area and its one place we will definitely returned to which is usual for us. I have just returned from 4 nights in this hotel with my 21 year old daughter. We stayed in a Superior room which was really lovely - very spacious, plenty of wardrobe space and use of a safe which was great, lovely bathroom and very clean. Our balcony was amazing - on a corner and looking right out to sea. We found the Reception staff quite curt but they did their job. All other staff were lovely. I've read bad reports about the food but we found it to be really good - fresh with plenty of choice. The only criticism is that it was unlabelled so for people with allergies this could prove to be a problem. Also, I do like to know what I am eating, There was sometimes a delay getting drinks at dinner and it was disappointing that the coffee machines are only on at breakfast. The pool area is lovely as is the area around the pool bar. There is an adults only area which is great and i can imagine really beneficial for longer stays. Plenty of sun loungers although not the comfiest i have ever experienced. Drinks at the bar - sometimes a bit of a queue but staff worked very hard. Plenty of choice and some brand drinks available - Smirnoff, Beefeater. We were unlucky with the weather though in that it was incredibly windy for most of our stay which made sunbathing difficult and in fact for 2 afternoons we couldn't sit out at the pool or on our lovely balcony - not that this is the hotel's fault, just making an observation as the weather did ruin our short stay. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk away from the nearest bars and shops - there is the Luna Beach bar a minute or so walk along the front and a lovely restaurant called La Cala. A taxi to the marina costs around 8 euros and is worth taking the trip as there are plenty of shops and restaurants.
