The Red Hut Inn

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The dinner, for an added charge, was very good. The facility is clean. There is not much in the neighbourhood, but it is convenient for both airports.

It was a nice one night stay waiting for a flight to leave the next day. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and went out of their way to help us with any needs.like delivery of dinner from a local Chinese restaurant to cooked breakfast before we grab the cab to the airport . Room was air-conditioned and large bedroom and bathroom, had all amenities that we needed. Definitely a family feel to the hotel would stay there again.

The Red Hut Inn is an older hotel/hostel with a couple of single rooms and 2 8-bed dorm rooms. The staff keeps the rooms and common areas clean. The manager provides taxi service and coordinates day trips for guests (the Maya ruins and the cave tubing are 2 great trips….day boat trips to Caye Caulker for fishing and snorkeling are also available). A wonderful breakfast is available each morning, at a good price. And a local WalMart type store is an easy 5-minute walk. In addition to the wonderful staff, the Red Hut Inn provides a great opportunity to meet experienced travelers from all over the world who provide wonderful travel tips on the great travel destinations throughout Central and South America.

Julia keeps the place well maintained Supervises the staff. House keeping excellent Offers polite and concerned for the guests! Honest Hardworking Rooms: Floors clean Bathroom: Clean Shower: Hot, cold. Food options available Tours offered Pick up and drop off available ALL my needs were met promptly. Julia is the star of the Red Hut operation. Beer is available at cost.

Location: Very convenient, safe neighborhood, near ocean, safe, quite, and I love staying at the red hut inn! Julia, the manager, always prompt, always smiling, very helpful and she is the best part of staying at the Red Hut Inn. I have stayed there for the last 3 years, one week everytime! Staff: House keeping is tip top! Pickup and Drop off from airport, convenient, safe, prompt, prices are reasonable! Pick up and Drop off at the ferry terminal, first ferry to and From Cate Cauker! Always on time! Thanks Julia! Floors: Cleaned and shinning. Bed mattress: Comfortable! Upper Porch: Large and has table for eating and working. Sofa and Chairs: Comfortable. Free coffee at 7 am daily. Coffee is good and flavorful. Bed sheets: Clean. Pillows clean and comfortable. Reception area: Well organized. Guests from all over the world, UK, France. South America, USA! Totally admire Julia for keep running and place like a clock, perfectly and professionally. ALL tourists seem happy! Beer and drinks: Available for cost. Arranged all my transportation gave me good feedback on what I wanted to do very competent and helpful I couldn't find anything I didn't like I was very happy with the owners and staff and I'd like to thank them very much

Though the rooms are small, it was just what we needed for our stay. Staff was extremely friendly, foos was great and everyone was so helpful in helping us get around. Highly recommend the Red Hut. We would stay there again for sure.
