The youth hostel of the factory of Beijing artillery bureau is close to the Lama Temple, and the hutongs are full of ordinary people's homes. It used to be a prison, an arsenal, a factory. Now it is a real youth hostel. Without luxurious decoration, the original appearance of the old factory is preserved as much as possible. We provide clean sheets, comfortable beds, cheap and delicious food, and provide you with a large public space and outdoor space close to nature. We hope you don't stay in your room, but communicate with young friends around the world and share the happiness of travel. Chinese youth hostels have begun to change, and more youth hostels look more like business hotels. A localização é muito boa, principalmente por que eu pretendia visitar algumas universidades próximas. Contudo, a recepção não foi muito agradável (o que acho que deve ter sido algo pontual, esporádico) e o quarto estava muito bagunçado. Por isso, eu não consegui ficar lá, fiz o check out 40 minutos após dar entrada e fui procurar um próximo local.

This place is alright. It's great for meeting other travelers. You can always count on a group of foreigners hanging outside and smoking. Most of the staff doesn't speak English at all, although one guy did. They sell some convenient stuff at reception like drinks, cigarettes, instant noodles, etc. The common area is nice. I'm surprised another reviewer called it small because it can accomodate a few dozen people. The bathrooms/showers are kinda a disaster but what do you expect. This place seems quite expensive for what it is, but I didn't find a lot of alternatives in Beijing. Overall I had a good experience here.

the staff at the front desk could barely speak English. This made it hard to request something or communicate. Showers weren’t that clean and the shower head was broken (typical of hostels). everything else was just ok, I would say.

There is no cleaness in here just untidy, but it is the cheapest and good location near the metro, near 24 h supermarket. Additionally this place sold some essential items it is neccesarry.

Not good , i just stay few hours there and left it , only it was cheap , then i moved to another one , but finding is hostel in Bejing at cheap price for forigner hard !

Bed is soft, easy to sleep. People downstairs can be noisy but I think that's a bit understandable. Receptionist also helped us book a spot to watch the flag raising ceremony.

Very good hostel for foreigners. Neat and Clean. Near to metro station and supermarkets. Staff is very friendly and they can speak English.

Nice place to stay! Close to Subway station and bus stop! Nice restaurants with delicious food are nearby. Plus, the staff are really helpful. And I really enjoyed their breakfast!

It’s cheap. But even at the price point, this was one of the most disappointing Chinese hostels I’ve stayed in. Sure, the location’s nice, but the beds are uncomfortable (the inability to block out light around the bed was a huge negative), charging in the rooms was awkward, the overall environment somewhat dingy. Next time I’ll either stay farther out or simply deal with the price of an actual hotel.
