Our hotel is only about 10 minutes walk from the Badaling Great Wall and 5 minutes walk from the Badaling train station. Our hotel features a traditional Chinese Ming Dynasty building style, whose features date back to over 200-500 years ago. This is a cute tucked-in-a -corner type of hostel. Like a bed and breakfast. The room us a bit cold in December but it didnt deter me from coming back next year around August ir September. Not easy to find off the main road but following the map helps. The husband & wife team are excellent host and accomodating. I had problem ordering a taxi to Beijing and they helped me ordered a local cab within minutes. They went Abode and beyond

David,
Spoke English (so does his wife). He met us when we arrived and was very helpful in orienting us. He brought us extra blankets for the cold & stayed in touch on WeChat with directions & clarifications as needed. The place was simple but it worked great for us! Fantastic value & a friendly welcome!

Staying here was like being part of the family. As soon as I had booked, May contacted me and assisted me in finding transport. Upon arrival, David came out to meet me to make sure I didn’t get lost. David also took me sightseeing a bit later. I was able to enjoy home cooked meals for supper and breakfast. It was just an incredible experience to be treated with such warmth and genuine care. It was a positive experience from start to finish. Even after I had left, David contacted me again to make sure I had arrived safely at my next destination. It was a genuine 5 star experience. 😀😀😀😀😀

Un petit coin de paradis, vous n’êtes pas très loin de la muraille de Chine, pas très loin de la gare et Restaurant autour .  Le propriétaire se plie en deux pour vous .
Toujours souriant et à votre service .
Un jardin soigné, vous pourrez vous y reposer après de longues marches . Je vous le recommande vivement .

長城下四合院住宿體驗，離S2郊區鐵路八達嶺站很近，走路就到，老闆一家很熱情，庭院很舒服，一早去八達嶺長城走10幾分鐘！只是火車時刻表好像每隔半個月會更動，班次較不密集、1830後可能會沒車。因爲是郊區民宿，各方面條件不能用市區酒店標準來比較喔，房內洗澡電熱水器一次大概只夠一個人，下一位得幾分鐘待熱水加熱昇溫，有地熱房間溫暖，床墊支撐稍差一點，只附一個枕，浴廁較簡陋清潔普通！

帶着孩子來北京，就想着和他們一起體驗一下四合院的生活。入住了發現曹家四合院是一家正宗的老北京四合院民宿，我們一家四口兩個房間，住了四合院裏的一廂房，孩子房間跟我們是對門，共同有一個小玄關一樣的過道出的門。出了房門正對着一個小院子，正直冬天，孩子還可以在院子裏玩雪和打乒乓球。附近最值得讚的是除了可以爬長城，還可以滑雪，我孩子滑了一天的雪已經能從最好滑道滑下來了，非常贊👍

客棧距離八達嶺長城站不遠，到的時候天已經黑了，老闆很熱情，開車去接的。四合院佈置的很用心，有鮮花、弔籃等。可以在客棧就餐，餃子、炸醬麪、雞蛋青菜麪都是20元，味道還不錯。步行到北線纜車入口1.7公里，南線1.2公里。

- Take the subway to Xizhimen on the northwest part of subway line 2
- Get out from exit A of Xizhimen station and follow the signs to the Beijing North Railway Station.
- Take the train to Badaling. We will be waiting for you at the Badaling station.
The trains departure time:6:12,7:58,9:02,10:57,13:14,13:35,15:24,17:41,The journey takes 1:15 hours.
The property provides chargeable pick-up service .Guests who wish to use the service are kindly requested to inform the property in advance. Contact details can be found on your booking confirmation.
