Love love this hotel! Fabulous location, clean rooms, wonderful bar / restaurant, friendly staff, convenient covered parking in garage below first floor. Good for all travelers.

The room was so dark and the shower leaked all over the floor. Dirty glasses....no real breakfast option...limited bathroom amenities. For $300 per night, it was overpriced and under-serviced. On the positive side, the restaurant at the top floor was great but limited hours.

The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. My issue was the fee of $19 per day for parking. Parking is in under the hotel, on the basement level. There is no security gate and only one camera at the elevators, so the $19 seems a cash grab at best. Its not like the hotel is in a major city. At check in they never mentioned the free parking across the way - walkable. Was there on the weekend and the only way to get fresh brewed free coffee was to get to the lobby before 7AM. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but how about free coffee regardless of time. They have Keurigs in the room, but lets be real, its not the same. Disappointed.

Front Desk lady that I personally dealt with was little to no help besides basic check in. Room was missing items (ice bucket, glass ware etc) and not only were batteries in remote dead TV was not in working order. Was given appetizer only vouchers at 9pm at night for bar. Could not use them for breakfast though. Breakfast was warm or cold items from a drawer. $4 water, $4 juice box etc. Horrible for a "higher class" hotel supposedly. Truly expected better from Sonesta.

The staff were super friendly. Loved that parking was free and under cover. Very nice that it is walkable to shops, restaurants and the grocery stores.

Very happy with our 15 day stay! Clean room, staff was super friendly. Housekeeping staff was great, brought things immediately when needed. The area the hotel is in is amazing. The hotel is walking distance to a galleria with stores, a movie theater, and some restaurants. Overall, I definitely give this hotel 5 stars. Next time we’re in Austin we will definitely stay here again!

Be aware that they lie about "multiple view" when you select that option. Initially we were checked in with a view of only the pool. Being on the second floor I didn't even get a view of anything but the pool and the building wing across the way. I opted for the "multiple view" option because I was expecting a good view of the surrounding area. Actually that's the only reason I went with this area and a 30 minute uber/lyft ride into and out of the city. That was a terrible mistake. So after complaining, we were moved a floor up with a little better of a view but it still was pretty poor. Not to mention the air conditioner in the second room couldn't keep up. We're here in October and the temperature outside was around 80 so there wasn't a reason for that. Did I complain a second time though? No... So I spent wayyy too much money on a hotel that I could've gotten the same treatment for inside the city limits without the $30-$35 one way trips to the city. The only good part about the stay was we did have a good time at the bar on the sixth floor with a nice view of the area (though I expected similar from my room with the "multiple view" option). Be prepared to pay $25 for an old fashioned though.
