Travelodge Bedford Marston Moretaine

It did the job! The hotel is a bit overpriced for what it has to offer and is located in the gas station parking lot. It’s a good stay if you need to be in the area though and the staff was friendly!

The bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and adequate. The skirtings in the bedroom were dirty. Around the outside of the building was filthy and and an utter disgrace. The road around the building was badly potholed. Spend some money Travelodge!

We found this hotel stay very disappointing. It was hot outside with no air conditioning and no fan. Our first impression was a car park full of potholes absolutely strewn with litter. There’s been no care of the outside area at all. There’s no lift and they still use a metal key. The main light bulb was out and there were loads of massive cobwebs on our room. We won’t be back.

I have stayed there before the room was lovely. The place is fantastic. Burger King and Greggs within few seconds walk. a little bit of noise because it’s by the petrol station however as a plus Hani was great and very helpful, professional friendly.

Stayed in many a travel lodge and no problems , but there s one is in dire need of maintenance and a deep clean. Bin at entrance overflowing on Friday arrival , even n worse when leaving on Sunday. Very disappointed as we travelled wIth family and booked this hotel.

Very old travel lodge , stayed in many of them all over the country, but this is the worst. Had a room at the front, which was dreadful due to the noise. You have a shell petrol station about 20 yards from your window , and a Greggs and Burger King on site . Checked in Sunday 14th , and checked out on Friday 19th . Over this period, no housekeeper came into my room. So for 5 days , no clean towels , no clean bed sheets. I even had to go to reception to ask for toilet rolls , tea ,coffee and milk .

Postcode was wrong or something as Satnav wanted me to go a mile down the road which having spoken to other guests happened to them too. Rooms hot but opening windows means you will never sleep because of petrol station right outside the window. Pay more and get a better location. You won't regret spending a little extra but you will regret it if you don't

I had to pay twice as the website had a problem. But it was made my problem even through I had proof of payment on my bank app. Not happy.

One of the older style Travelodges. The rooms themselves are perfectly fine (though, as always, not enough sockets) - clean bathroom, good bed, etc. It’s just obvious this Travelodge has led a hard life and is in need of renovation. It must have repaid its investment many times over. It’s next to a main road junction, and there’s a small service area grown up round it - fuel station, Greggs (there’s no breakfasts in the hotel), and a Burger King. The car parking area around the hotel is declining - there’s potholes, the parking barrier has disappeared, and the lawns are woefully neglected (the tress that were planted when the hotel was built are beautiful now though). It’s not the most pleasant area around the hotel. In short, the hotel itself is still OK, but it’s really in need of some serious renovation
