Avid Hotel Cincinnati N - West Chester

When we checked in, the hotel had been oversold. We had booked a room with two queen beds, and the lady at the desk said that she only had one of those available and still had lots of people to check in behind us. Since it was just 2 of us and we were only spending one night, We told her that we would take one of the rooms with just one bed and share and we would make it work so that she would be able to use that room for someone that had three people or more. She said that breakfast would be open until 10 AM the next morning. However, when we went down there, they had actually closed up at 9:30. While in the lobby, several staffers were screaming and yelling at each other in a huge argument. Another staff member came over and told them to lower their voices. However, it did not help. They continued to scream and yell right behind the wall, that was open to everyone else in the hotel. Apparently someone did not show up to work, and they were all arguing and fighting with their boss over who was going to take up the slack. It was extremely unprofessional, but they did not care. They kept screaming and yelling at each other, even though they knew there was a lobby full of people.

Hotel was newly built and had new employee. Somehow it was overbooked and we didnt get the room we booked (2 beds). Thankfully they still had a room we could manage to use. Small rooms but clean.

Traveling and needed a last minute hotel - the room was perfect, comfortable and quiet!

The entrance was bright and clean. The check-in was quick and easy. I loved the room set-up and décor. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast service was very filling. Overall, this was a great overnight stay.

The Friendly and everything was clean however, none of the employees wore a uniform and hoodies and scrubs were unprofessional

NEGATIVE COMMENT: The room HVAC system fan running constantly was very annoying. When it became difficult to fall asleep management was contacted about the issue. Was sorry about the discomfort but was informed that was the way the system was designed to operate. POSITIVE COMMENT: At approximately 11:45 PM management was informed about people on the floor above us was running, jumping and making a lot of noise. Manager came to our room and verified the issue. Informed us that she would address the issue immediately. Within a very short period of time the noises stopped and the remainder of the evening was quiet.

Front desk employees were amazing and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! This was our first time staying here but we loved it!

Check in was very easy and didnt get asked 100 questions.. property was clean and quiet.

Clean two year old hotel with better rates than others nearby. Rooms were clean, functionally laid out and quiet. Most all the staff was pleasant and conversational especially Zay. This weekend had several youth soccer teams among the guests. Thinking the decent free breakfast coupled with the price is attractive to these groups. All well behaved but breakfast area was especially crowded at times. Very nice exercise room.
