My wife and I stayed here for two nights making Beaufort West our midway point between Bloem and Cape Town. The room was clean and neat. Service was above and beyond what we expected. I would highly recommend 17onBird for anyone wanting lovely break.

The manager is very caring and helpful. The property is clean and neat. Breakfast is a little bit expensive but very tasty.

We have stayed together as a family many times. This time, nothing was as good as in the past. The electric blanket did not work the first night, and the shower was overflowing when used the second night. It is unfair that the accommodation is not kept well-serviced. The next morning, the electricity was finished, and we had to wait for 30 minutes for someone to go and buy some electricity. We actually want to be refunded as we had to look for other accommodation as we were in Beaufort-West for my mother's funeral. Do you know how unpleasant it is when you have to repack and look for other accommodation in such circumstances?

The cottage on the street can be a bit noisy. The rooms at the back are better! Reception was not aware if oor booking irrespective of my enail and whtsapp cinfirmation. It was solved!

Very peaceful stay again in lovely room and extremely helpful, friendly staff. Parking is always safe behind security gate. The dinner (chicken schnitzel) was very disappointing and looked as if it came from a supermarket frozen food box!

I have stayed in this quest house many times. Have received excellent service. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and look inviting. Towels are supplied.Coffee and tea facilities, fridge, wifi and room service. Food is scrumptious. Parking is safe behind gates and electric fencing. I definitely rate this accommodation establishment A++ Thank you H.Chadwick

We weren’t housed in the same complex. This wasn’t disclaimed ahead of time. It felt very strange. The pool was nice. The menu was good, but the food was over cooked. The drinks weren’t properly cold.

17 on Bird Guest House was an absolute gem. Hospitality was excellent, rooms very modern and perfect for an over night stay with family of 4. The pool was a bonus to cool down in 43 degrees. The food quality was a disappointment and prices for softdrinks a bit steep. But other than that really enjoyed our stay

Was good to pull in after a long drive from Pretoria and come to a friendly , clean and comfortable place for a good nights rest. Dinner was excellent, check in and check out seamless and all round service good. Will certainly go back.
