The Room was very clean, with lot of space (for a family of four). The staff is very polite and friendly (also very helpful- they found us a thermometer because our daughter had a sudden fever). The breakfast with good variety and quality. The dinner was very nice too!

Very nice and charming place, they successfully combined an old house with a modern interior. We had 2 lovely days there to enjoy the scenery, ourselves and talks with the very friendly hotel staff. They also have a small wellness area with steam bath, sauna and a resting zone. Not big, but also very charming and for us more than enough to relax and enjoy.

Very good clean hotel in a wonderful place. Authentic feeling of the Bavarian countryside. The personal is very helpful and friendly. Tasty food in the restaurant. Big portions. Will suit well both for a the workshop and romantic holidays. Pet friendly

The hotel is excellent! Super clean and organized, with modern facilities while maintaining its mountain cozyness. The food was excellent, as it is the wellness area. Special thanks to the staff that was super friendly and helpful.

In der Alpenrose sorgen das sehr aufmerksame Personal, die fantastische Küche und der tolle Wellnessbereich für einen perfekten Urlaub im tiefsten Bayern. Die Lage am Sudelfeld zum Skifahren und als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen z.B. zum Wendelstein ist optimal um die bayrischen Alpen von ihrer besten Seite zu erleben. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Wir haben einen Kurzurlaub als Familie zum Jahreswechsel 2023/2024 in die Filmstadt „Frühling“ gemacht, da unser Sohn die Serie so großartig findet. Die Alpenrose wird von der Betriebsleiterin Franziska Müller geführt, die mit viel Herzblut den Gästen versucht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Sie hat mit Ihrem Team einen großartigen Silvesterabend veranstaltet, der uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Wir bedanken uns bei dem gesamten Team der Alpenrose Bayrischzell für die schönen Tage und den wirklich liebevollen Service und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

Montags gibt es in der Alpenrose Sauerbraten mit Rotkraut und Klößen. Das fand ich super, hatte ewig keinen Sauerbraten mehr gegessen. Doch zu meiner Enttäuschung war das Fleisch durchzogen mit Sehnen und Fett, eher Suppenfleischqualität und zäh obendrein. Also das Gegenteil von einem klassischen Sauerbraten, auch die Sauce war nicht so, wie sie zum Sauerbraten gehört. Auch meiner Nachbarin ging es wie mir, große Enttäuschung. Keine Empfehlung, außer der Rotkohl.

Schönes Ambiente, extrem nettes Team und eine absolute Empfehlung. Habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Sauna gehört zu den schönsten, die ich bislang gesehen habe. Auch das Essen war gut. Vom Hotel aus kann man direkt Richtung Wandelstein wandern.
