Bayfield Boutique B&B

Our one night stay was very enjoyable. Friendly greeting by Mary and Brae, and later by John and Maggie. Beautiful decor, and excellent breakfast! The property is well-manicured, with a beautiful garden. The weather was perfect for an autumn hike to enjoy all of the outstanding colours of the trees. We look forward to returning in the future.

Thank you to John and Mary for a lovely night in their perfect B&B. The accommodations were perfectly clean and charming. We also enjoyed our conversations with them. They are both very friendly and hospitable. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. They are definitely in the right business. We would not hesitate to stay again when we are n Bayfield.

This by far the best place to stay in Bayfield. Mary is a wonderful host and makes the most delicious breakfasts. The back garden seems endless and filled with beautiful flowers and plants. This was our third stay and we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Mary and John’s place right in the heart of beautiful Bayfield. Our room was cozy and comfortable, the house and grounds are lovely, and Marcy and John were gracious hosts. The breakfast sandwiches and fresh fruit salads were a tasty way to start our day. Highly recommend!

We have a wonderful days in Bayfield Bed and Breakfast with Mary, she really care about the guesses to field like home and even when we are leaving so early she prepare a nice breakfast to go! I really recommend this place for a relax and beautiful vacations days Araceli and William

We just had our wedding here! Such a beautiful and tastefully decorated venue! Even more beautiful than the pictures! Everything went exactly as planned and was on time! The gardens are stunning. I would highly recommend Mary and John for anyone wishing an intimate romantic venue! We are so happy we decided to choose this beautiful town to get married in! We cannot thank Mary and John enough

An absolute GEM of a Bed & Breakfast! We had a lovely stay and felt completely at home and taken care of. Mary and John have thought of every little detail to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfasts were thoughtful and delicious and enjoyed in their beautiful outdoor space. They are perfectly located in Bayfield where you are a walk away from both the beautiful sunsets on the beach and the quaint stores as you stroll though the downtown area. My husband and I stayed for a night at the Bayfield Boutique Bed and Breakfast after reading other excellent reviews. It exceeded our expectations. The building itself is charming and many of the older features such as the beautiful hardwood floors have been preserved, however every modern amenity for comfort of the guests has been incorporated. There is a complimentary coffee bar in the lounge just inside the main entrance with a selection, not only of coffee but of treats and sweets. Mary, the hostess and her husband John were the most wonderful hosts and we really enjoyed chatting with them and meeting their two lovely terriers. Our room was at the top of a fairly steep flight of stairs but I understand there is a ground level, pet friendly suite for those for whom mobility might be a challenge. Breakfast was a delicious egg and vegetable sandwich on whole grain bread with a fruit cup and orange juice and coffee served in a wicker picnic basket. We opted to sit out on the front porch with a view of the park to enjoy our meal, but the backyard and deck overlooking the gardens would be a beautiful spot to have breakfast, coffee or a glass of wine - or two! Our room itself - the “Bourbon” - was quite large with two club chairs positioned to watch tv and an extremely comfortable king size bed with great pillows. Of the three rooms on the upper level ours was the only one with the private bathroom across the hall - the others are “ensuite” . Bathrobes are provided. Just outside the room is a refrigerator for guest use as well as a water cooler, more snacks and a huge basket of beach towels and a rack of cozy blankets for cooler nights. Mary and John have really thought of everything their guests might need! The location is an easy walk into lovely Bayfield, where there is a good selection of restaurants and shops and is also an easy walk to the beach. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
