I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic! The host was so helpful and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!) Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too. Thank you very much!

Perfect spot for exploring Bath, very central and easy to walk to the station, shops and attractions. The apartment was spotlessly clean with everything we needed, and felt secure in the lovely courtyard. We extended our stay as we felt so at home there. There looked to be a secure left luggage store which we may have used if we’d seen it earlier. Would be useful to have info about this in the apartment info pack. There is some noise from the street for apartment 7, partly from early deliveries to Thermae Spa which is directly opposite, and also from people wandering through the echoey passageways at night. We got used to it by the end of our stay, but light sleepers might prefer one of the inward facing apartments.

Central location helps to overcome the cramped feeling staying in the annexe. The car was parked at the other end of town and drop off was difficult to say the least but it is what it is. I had no reason whatsoever to check out the main building reception, breakfast area perhaps a bar and lounge area too because nothing pointed me there! So generally, it was a room in a loft space built to an ”average” measure. I never like shower cubicles where I tend to bang elbows and worry about breaking something when I drop the soap. Breakfast price was horrendous so no inclination to walk in on the hop to check it out for the 2 nights stayed. I felt detached, cramped and in a bed-sit like accommodation. It is what it is.

The hotel had great location and tasty breakfast. The room was nice and good toilet. Great room service for bringing your delivered food to your room for you. However the staff needs to improve their communication skill and knowledge. I was told that I could buy breakfast prior to the day I want the breakfast and I didn’t have to book a time slot. However when I wanted to check out I was told that I was charged the price of the breakfast that is bought on the day, not the day prior. I later talked to the staff and they understood their staffs mistake. The hotel doesn’t have dinner service I was told.

Fomos muito bem recebidos na chegada. O quarto era espaçoso e as camas confortáveis. O jantar no dia da chegada foi bom. O amplo estacionamento foi um ponto positivo.

O hotel é um prédio incrível que certamente precisa de manutenção. Reservamos um quarto duplo para uma noite e chegamos na hora do almoço com a intenção de passear por Bath durante alguns dias. O hotel gentilmente nos permitiu estacionar o carro o dia todo nos dois dias, o que foi ótimo. O processo de check-in (após as 15h) foi muito fácil e tivemos um quarto muito limpo com muitas toalhas, 2 roupões e chinelos para o spa/piscina. O quarto duplo tinha uma cama king size muito confortável. A piscina do hotel estava cheia e parecia um pouco desgastada, mas era como esperado. A piscina externa aquecida era muito agradável e relaxante. Não fizemos nenhum tratamento no spa nem usamos a academia, mas ambos pareciam bem conservados e a academia tinha bons equipamentos modernos. Não jantamos no restaurante, preferindo encontrar um restaurante em Bath. O café da manhã foi um pouco caótico, com vários funcionários do hotel realizando diversas tarefas sem nenhuma coordenação aparente. A espera por uma mesa, depois pelo café, foi longa e, em seguida, tivemos que esperar novamente para fazer o pedido do café da manhã. Todo o processo do café da manhã levou bem mais de uma hora, o que é péssimo. Ficou claro que não havia um processo organizado, já que algumas mesas receberam seus cafés da manhã completos antes de nós, mesmo tendo sido levados à nossa mesa 30 minutos antes delas. O garçom baixinho com seu bloco de notas era um tanto inútil. Quando o café da manhã inglês completo chegou, era um prato pequeno com comida bem preparada, mas não exatamente como descrito no cardápio. Em termos de tamanho da porção, parecia mais um café da manhã infantil. Também não nos serviram torradas e tivemos que pedir, ao contrário de outras mesas que as receberam junto com as bebidas, o que pareceu um pouco estranho. O buffet continental era um pouco escasso, sem tigelas ou colheres, então tivemos que usar nossos copos de suco de frutas para o iogurte e as frutas. Tudo poderia ser melhorado com um buffet de café da manhã sob um fogão elétrico, caso não haja funcionários suficientes para servi-lo.

Good view and good vibe nearby. Chill and nature, bus stop at entrance, convenient! Slient and safe at night. Good to stay with family or friends! Pantry is 24hr open for cook or chill.

Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109. Best Western Limpley Stoke Hotel is located outside of Bath centre, therefore it is quiet and peaceful. The hotel has a bar and restaurant for guests who just want to have a relax time in the hotel.

It was great, the reception, the bedroom, the bathroom, and Dani was very kind with us, but there was not breakfast!!
