Ravenstone Lodge Country House Hotel

Amazing meal …. Sat in the Bistro which is the original stable settings. So Cosy and relaxed atmosphere felt totally chilled which we wanted as very rarely get quality time out. The food was outstanding very tasty and well presented. Got lovely homemade bread to start off the table . The service was very welcoming and very professional. Bret and Andrea Thankyou so much for looking after us you guys were the best . Constantly checked we were ok always present looking after us from start to finish much appreciated. We will definitely be back Thankyou so much 💖

We have just had another very enjoyable stay at Ravenstone Lodge. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, as usual. We were also very happy with our room and its very comfortable bed.

Just had a fabulous time staying at Ravenstone Lodge, everything was first class, hosts, staff, food was 5* rooms very clean and comfortable, best nights sleep, unbelievable mattresses, so impressed with our stay, have booked again for August, looking forward to seeing Charlie, Pete, and Jess, again, From Stanley and Annette 😊

Ravenstone Lodge is a very relaxed small friendly hotel. Extremely comfortable with amazing staff and food. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are helpful and friendly. A special mention for Brett and Ellie. Our 4th stay and hopefully there will be a 5th.

My first time staying at Ravenstone Lodge. Met at reception in a warm and welcoming manner. Room was on the small side, but it was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom and shower were super clean. Had a Cumbrian cooked breakfast on the morning of my stay, which was tasty and well presented with all items on the plate served very hot. The young serving staff at breakfast were efficient attentive and engaging, with lots of smiles for the guests. An altogether very enjoyable stay.

A wonderful place with great, caring staff and fabulous food. The place has a great ambience, beautiful views and the most comfortable beds ever :) The food is delicious and the staff have been really, really lovely. Fabulous 3 night stay at Ravenstone Lodge. Would highly recommend. Everything was perfect from the welcome we received from Brett to our lovely converted hay loft room. We ate at the hotel each night and the menu and quality of the food was fantastic. Nice little touches including home made cookies in the room and home made warm muffins at breakfast. We'll be back

Another outstanding stay at Ravenstone Lodge. Our recently refurbished room was lovely and so very peaceful. The staffcannot do enough to help , special mention to Brett, Andrea and chefs James and Andy for making us feel like we were part of the family. The hotel is spotless and the food is outstanding. The Ravenstone gin adds to evening meals which are too delicious for words! We are back again in August and trying to book for Easter next year. Only concern this year was very odd pricing structure over our 2 bookings. But I know the new owner, the lovely Charlie who went to the Manor just to get us gin, will sort that out. I cannot recommend this little gem of a hotel enough.

A lovely place overlooking green fields and in a very quiet spot. Very welcoming staff and a tasty breakfast. I visited with my grown up daughter and enjoyed a pleasant stay. The room was light and airy and the bed was comfortable. There is an a la carte menu, but we didn't have our evening meal there, however it does get great reviews!
