My husband and I wanted a night away to reconnect. This was a perfect choice. The hotel was stunning. The staff was lovely. The suite was absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. Well worth the price. A great place to relax and have a romantic getaway. The bed was also very comfortable amd the room was very clean. Absolutely recommend this place.

I have lost count how many times we have stayed here now. Each visit is just lovely, very relaxing, good value, clean, modern and the staff have always been pleasant. The hotel is do convenient to where we visit family so we shall always book here for our trip to Barrow. The parking is so good, grounds are stunning and rooms are beautiful. Well done team Abbey ps.. I was grateful for the latte this time at breakfast lol

The hotel is situated in the most beautiful grounds,wwith easy walks to the ruins of Furness Abbey.The hotel itself has very nice rooms,with a view.The restaurant serves excellent meals,with very pleasant staff.What more to like?Great value

We just recently had our wedding at abbey house and it was FANTASTIC! The staff could not do enough to help us, nothing was ever too much they really looked after us flawlessly from start to finish. The food was amazing with lots to chooce from. We stayed in the priness suite which was out of this world, with great views of the beautiful gardens and grounds. We will definitely be going back every year for our anniversary. 10/10

Great and clean hotel and all staff really friendly Should be a 5* hotel A bit noisy at night but still had a great sleep and breakfast was amazing We will be back to visit this hotel soon The parking area was well maintained and over looked beautiful gardens.

We were upgraded on arrival to one of the suites as the hotel was fully booked but still peaceful. Super room with views over the garden. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We dined in Oscars Restaurant both nights and the food, service and ambiance was excellent. The breakfast choice was second to none and they were happy to customise to suit. The food was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will use again. Recommend to anybody.

It really couldn’t be better. I only visit for single nights but because the food is wonderful and it’s such a peaceful friendly place I always have a good sleep and an excellent night away. Staff are really friendly and helpful sonineoukdntcdteycsnyehere else now when i’m in this area.

We always stay here and it never fails...beautiful, clean, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, delicious breakfast and friend professional staff. We had suite no 127 and I wish I had had more time to soak in the dream of a bath! Nothing beats a glass if fizz in the stunning gardens too absolute bliss.

Stayed here the night of our small, intimate wedding after being spoilt rotten in Oscars Restaurant downstairs. Stayed in the Craven Suite which was amazing - pure luxury! Every effort was made to make our room that little bit extra special - towel swans, rose petals, congratulations card etc. Breakfast the next day was beautiful & check out was 11am so had time for a snooze post breakfast before re-entering the land of the living out of the wedding bubble. Loved our stay & will undoubtedly be back for anniversaries xx
