This is a lovely house with two very welcoming hosts. Our room was big enough to hold a dance in and overlooked the impressive and well kept garden which was available to sit in. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely visit again.

We stayed 7 nights and will recommend to our friends and hopefully visit again ourselves. Our room on the ground floor was lovely, with many period features. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. The home-made lemon drizzle cake on arrival was delicious. Parking is onsite. Only a 20 minute walk to the town which has bus routes to most of the main tourist areas of North Devon. Thank you to Maggie and Saul (and Pearl) for being so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

A nice clean room with good facilities at fantastic house and garden. Welcoming hosts and excellent breakfasts. We would certainly stay here again. Plenty of nice walks around including along a disused railway line. Excellent local Indian restaurant, The Ganges, and handy local Spar shop and pub, The Rising Sun. A couple of miles away, The Chichester Arms in Bishops Tawton has a lot of character and does a nice pint and very generous Sunday roast.
