Kriss Internazionale Hotel

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in October 2023. Upon check-in everything went smoothly although the gym opening times were different to what we had been told before arrival via email. The rooms are basic but nice and clean. The view is absolutely gorgeous and the direct access to the lake is a very big bonus point. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay as it offers a lot of variety and everything is fresh. A big THANK YOU to the lady who prepared our eggs. She was simply amazing. The reason this review is so badly rated is that the hotel stole my night gown and now claims it is unfindable. On our last day, the cleaning lady came into the room without knocking. I just got out of the shower and told her she should come back later. Once I returned to the room in the evening, my night gown was gone. I had placed it on the bed and it was nowhere to be found in the room. I alerted reception and simply got told that the gentleman couldn’t help me and I should ask tomorrow morning when his colleague was there. The next morning we left the hotel early morning and of course, no one was available to look for the night gown. After we left, I emailed the hotel and got told straight away that nothing was found. I wonder how they could check and reply within minutes. I sent another email to please check again. No answer came. Only once I had completed their review online and gave them my rating did I receive an email stating that they had not found anything. Additionally, upon check-out, they forgot to charge us the tourism tax. So once the actual reception lady, not her incompetent Night Shift, had to run after our car to settle that bill. Not very professional at all! It is a nice hotel but if you want to ensure you keep your things, I would not recommend staying here again.

Great hotel ,very friendly,nothing a problem,room very clean,great lake views,only 5 minutes walk into town ,nice walk along the lake ,breakfast is good,everything you need ,including fizz ,we would definitely stay here again

Arriving late and tired after flight delays … the two lads night receptionist were ready to assist. They were kind and courteous .. the hotel is right on the lake front and has a fantastic breakfast area great waitress service and a great breakfast we had a most enjoyable time here it’s small friendly and just perfect . Ps I travel a LOT and I found this hotel to be very relaxing and in a great location

Friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean well equipped room. Good location for the town and ferry. No negative comments. Would stay again and recommend to others.

The Kriss is ideally situated for visiting Bardilino All the staff are very helpful, the room we had was the junior suite with a side balcony with great views. The room was excellent and even had a new modern style sauna and has a whirlpool tub on the 4th floor which was free to use.

We planned a cycle trip through Austria from Germany with our bike bags couriered to Hotel Kriss ready for us to pack and fly home. What could possibly go wrong... The bags arrived about two weeks AFTER we were back in the UK. The couriers got it all wrong. Fabiana was a superstar and really helped us out. Chased our bags even after we had left and on the day helped locate some bike box's to get us home. Nothing was too much trouble and our bags would still be circling around Italy.. She organised lunch for us which was excellent and also changing rooms. I cannot thank her enough and even the Owner helped us load up the bike bags. Terrific customer service.

The location of this hotel is excellent for walking , cycling and boat trips . It’s minute’s away from Lovely restaurants and just across the road from The Lake. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We had a Deluxe room with a balcony which was a lovely large size , nice bathroom and front view of the Lake. Breakfast was amazing. Would not hesitate to return if I had the opportunity. Highly recommend Hotel Kriss.

We stayed in room 308 which was spacious and has fabulous views of the lake and a large balcony. The staff at the hotel are wonderful and so friendly, breakfast is superb with omelettes and pancakes made to order. The beach area has plenty of sun beds and umbrellas and is just across the road from the hotel. They also have a jetty with sun beds and steps down into the lake. They provide beach towels in a handy hessian bag and also branded flip flops which were so helpful as we didn’t bring any! Location is a small distance away from the main bars and restaurants but it’s an easy 5 minute walk and also a short walk to the ferry terminal. The hotel arranged transfers for us from the airport and to Verona and this was all very efficient and well organised. I would highly recommend this hotel and would go back if we ever stay in Bardolino again.
