We loved everything about our stay at Il Castelluccio! Location is secluded but just a short drive to some excellent restaurants (our favorite was Girodibacco). Views are spectacular from the resort. The two pools were lifesavers during the summer heatwave. The food at the resort was delicious. The rooms were clean and nicely updated. Lastly, the staff were spectacular. Everyone was so nice and helpful with recommendations and reservations. I would definitely recommend Il Castelluccio and would stay here again!

What a PARADISE!!! Dont think about it book it NOW. We had the best experience, the food was devine. The room was big and really clean. We had a pool just outside our room, it was wonderful. This was truly an experience. I recommend higly ❤️❤️❤️

The road towards the hotel had us worried that this couldn't be a good hotel. However it was almost perfect. The staff was helpful in every way, our room was new and elegant and the food we had was very good.

Lovely property with gorgeous views well located from Florence and surrounding areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our room, which was immaculately clean, and the breakfast was good too. However we were hugely disappointed by the pools which were way too cold, including the spa pool which didn't even work properly either. Also at this price bracket we would have expected drinking water, tea bags and shower caps etc. to be replenished daily in the rooms which they weren't.

Loved the hotel, the surroundings and the staff! Beautiful place. Enjoyed the pool and had a good breakfast at the restaurant every day. Had one dinner there but were not impressed. We had better food at half the price in other restaurants in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay! Great hotel in beautiful surroundings. Very nice staff. We had our first dinner in the hotel restaurant but were not that impressed. Pasta servings were tiny and not up to the standard we found in other restaurants in the area.

Il Castelluccio has modern nice roms and bathrooms. Sleeping comfort is very good. The kitchen also made a very nice dinner from a varied menu, which we enjoyed in good a**osphere on the terrace. The service was pleasant and friendly. We were passing from north to south and wanted to stay close, north of Florence to visit Florence the next day. Il Castelluccio served its purpose. The pool is small and a bit dated as well as the sun beds and umbrellas. The “terrace roof” needs a change. The surroundings woods are green and quiet, but this place has access road which makes you feel uncomfortable. Finally at Il Castelluccio you feel well, but you wonder where you are heading for the last kilometers before you get there. We don’t regret going, but will probably not go again.
