Stayed here for 3 nights on a work trip. Couldn’t recommend more! The host was more than accommodating, spotless rooms and great facilities. Only a short walk into the main town of Banbury. Would highly recommend the breakfast! All round 10/10

Perfect getaway, from a short walk into the town centre and easy driving into the Cotswolds. Was greeted warmly by the receptionist and given the details i needed for my stay. The Housekeeping staff came into my room daily and made my bed and topped up supplies ie tea, coffee etc. I enjoyed breakfast for a couple of the mornings of my stay, the Full English is a must, good quality bacon & sausages. Give it a try if staying in Banbury.

This was a lovely period guesthouse and place to stay if you’re ever in Banbury. It’s close to town centre and has all you’ll need, whilst visiting. Debby, the host, is very accommodating and welcoming. Hopefully, if I’m that way again… I’ll stay with you next time I visit.. Thank you

Arranged via email to check in early but when I arrived , I was told over intercom that they knew nothing about it and no one was on premises until 4pm. I waited til 4pm and again told they knew nothing about my request. Apart from the above, my stay was lovely. Room 10, overlooking front of house. No road noise, very comfy bed (but duvet was a bit small) . Room, bedding and bathroom were spotless, nicely decorated and coordinated. I didnt have breakfast there, I thought £12.95 was too much for what was on offer. My only moan is very late check in and very early check out times. Communication could be better.

Warning to any trade people asked to work for them...DONT!! I was asked to attend a site meeting and provide work, having detailed exact costs of each stage. Since providing the work, and being chastised for doing it too quickly(!), I have been told they will not pay the invoice. No reason has been given. In nearly six years of trading, this is the first client to not pay me. It might be a nice place to stay, but its in Banbury...so proabably not.

We stayed here for two nights and the host was ever so friendly and polite and was the assistant sorry but we have forgotten there names but run by two lovely ladies, if I was to have a whinge it would have to be the times of the hotel I.E check in 4pm and checkout 10am very late in the day and very early in the morning the other gripe is the beds weren’t that very comfy and the floor was very uneven we would have appreciated a king size bed or a queen but not sure this was an option but made do with a small double which I suppose made it uncomfortable, we also found the steps leading to the main entrance were very tricky and steep to negotiate has there is no handrails either side which if it was icy would be impossible to climb.

Have stayed several times and perfect each time, this visit was for business so out most of the time, however was greeted with a smile at the end of each day. The garden is still in full bloom. The fire in the reception area is gorgeous now the nights are drawing in. Will return in the near future.

Stayed a couple of nights here, bed and breakfast without breakfast. Note that it says free breakfast on the TA main page. Breakfast wasn't available on the first morning anyway, staff issue I believe. Nice enough place, we were told the heating comes on at 5 or 5.30 I can't remember but we said we were okay but when we sat in the lounge later I wished we'd asked for it to be on, I couldn't see a heating appliance or thermostat. Free car parking at the back and handy for the centre of Banbury.
