"This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at during my trip to Romantic Road. It's clean and well-managed, the staff are very friendly, and the location is great for sightseeing on foot. I was worried about making a reservation because there was no private parking lot, but there was a public parking lot a short walk away, so it wasn't too inconvenient. I chose not to include breakfast when I made the reservation, but I'm glad I added it when I checked in. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's all delicious, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. I definitely recommend having breakfast. I think I'll have good memories of Bamberg Romantik Hotel for a long time. I'd like to visit again if I get the chance."

"Probably the nicest small hotel we have stayed at. Only a few minutes walk to the Cathedral and close to the bustle of the old town, but tucked away in a quiet corner. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the free breakfast was delicious, and kept us going almost all day. The room we had not attached to the main hotel but was well appointed and cosy."

"Keep your expectations low. The checkin experience was very poor, I was hoping to drop off bags and the "representative" kept hanging up on me. Checkin was listed on my reservation at 3pm, but was not allowed until after 4pm. There was also hair in the bed so bring your flashlight to check cleanliness."

"The room was a single double-use with a comfortable bed, a hairdryer (almost never present in Germany ...) and a clean, spacious bathroom with a sufficiently powerful shower. The breakfast in the next building was good, but from a hotel I would ask for a minimum service, a reception that deals with the check-in and any needs of the guest without having to call a phone for example. Or a drink distributor, if the guest doesn't satisfy the bottle of water in tribute, or a hall where you can relax. Otherwise there is no difference between hotel and B&B .... Because these services are not present in this structure, I would not call it hotel ..."

No staff available after 6 pm and pretty isolated from town. If arrive after hours an will be sent in German so not very helpful."

"A total gem right in the centre of the old town. Olde worlde, situated central old town. Huge room, comfortable and clean. Dogs are very welcome. Incredible restaurant, superb quality, amazing choice and value. Well known for its food. Breakfast served in a different part of the hotel and has a canteen feel to it. However amazing, well stocked choice of food. The best coffee we have had in years. Overall you will not find better .. and the reasonable price is a huge bonus. Parking at the hotel. Wi fi, lift"
