We booked the Stone House as our base for the Baltimore deep sea angling competition and we struck gold. I have to say I’m a little conflicted writing this as it’ll make it harder to get a booking but credit where credit’s due. The owners make you so welcome and the breakfast is to die for. Two or three different types of bread baked before breakfast every day sets the scene as you wake up to the wonderful aroma. Fresh orange, grilled smoked bacon, eggs, cereal, yoghurt, home made jams and that bread you just couldn’t stop eating. Oh, and daily fresh made cakes or brownies which were outstanding. Gluten free? No problem. Rianne seriously knows how to bake. The bedroom for us was perfect, spotlessly clean and a real cracking shower that I’d love in my own home - perfect after a day’s fishing. Would I return? 100% I would! This is the first place I’ll be looking up when I next stay in Baltimore. Many thanks. P.S. I’d still love the recipe for your bread!
