Hampshire Hotel - Ballito

When we checked in the room had a terrible musky smell. It seemed to of been water damaged and not properly dried up and cleaned thereafter. We complained to the front desk and were sent to another room with the exact same issue. We complained again and were then sent to a third room but the furniture had water damage, the shower silicone grouting had mould and the toilet didn’t fill up after flushing. Eventually the manager came to us and apologised and arranged for a fourth room which was much better than the first three. One of the nights other guests were drinking and partying till the morning, slamming doors and screaming. The restaurant and bar were extremely quiet and looked extremely dull. The hotel seemed extremely quiet for peak season in an holiday town and now I understand why.

We were lived here few weeks, for business trip. In general - everything is great, when there were any problems they were solved quickly. Very safety place - there are no random people here. Far from the ocean - for someone it will be a minus. And the most hospitality staff I have ever seen. I miss you, guys.
