Sania's House

This is a magical little hidden gem, right in the heart of busy ubud. The triple deluxe rooms have a big private terrace with views of ubud rooftops. The spacious rooms are clean and comfortable and quiet. The hotel garden and pool are really stunning, fabulous architecture and statues everywhere!

Location is quite good and central and in the middle of a local shopping street. Our room was a bit dirty, stained sheets and a lot of bugs inside. Staff were nice. Notice that cats are living inside the hotel. You get what you pay for. Would not stay again.

It's like living in a Balinese temple, beautiful architecture. And it is just off market street in the heart of Ubud, but quiet. Get a room higher up, the lower ones are a bit dark. cleaning services are only provided early on, so do not forget to let them know. Also, don't forget to duck when you walk into the bathroom, as some decorations are quite low.

Our 5th time in Bali and our 3rd in Ubud. The girl on the front counter was not friendly at all, walked around on her phone constantly, didn't help or get any staff to help people with luggage at all. The staff spoke very little english. My daughter had blood on her sheets, and when sheets were changed they had stains on them. The rooms were super dark and not cleaned, we had a lolly (not ours) on the floor (so they weren't even swept). The bathroom was mouldy and dirty, no toilet roll holder and the hand held shower head kept turning itself to outside the bath onto the floor. My daughters shower didn't drain at all. The breakfast was OK, however we had a local wandering around very early in the morning trying to sell us paintings on our front porch. You couldn't get closer to the market tho and walking distance to everything. It was cheap, but I've stayed in cheaper that were much better.

Loved our stay here ! Very nice and clean place. Perfect location, right in the heart of Ubud Art Market. They give a 15minute Welcome Massage which I loved. Definitely would stay here again. Lovely pool also, very friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful traditional place, very quiet despite being in the centre of Ubud (entrance just from Arts and craft market). Rooms clean with good AC, ours was on the ground floor with a terrace where we could enjoy the breakfast. Pool was clean and deep, excellent relax after day of adventures. Staff lovely and helpful. Massage place right inside.

So when we arriwed we did not get the welcoming massage. We were placed in a room at third floor with a supersmall entrece outside without any rail. I felt dissy everytime i went in or out though to my scare of hights. So i was slimmad to the Wall everytime we had to go. They did not have any elevator or helped us with the luggage up to the room. We had two heavy bags each. The room was extremly hot and smelled funky. The wifi was suuuperslow. The airconditor barly worked. There where no hot water for showering and they did not clean the room during our 5 dags stay. And The worst of al there where no possibillity to clean the toilet. No brush or showerhouse near enough. Shame on you It was awful

Arrivare la sera in una casa tipica balinese è un pó spettrale. Ma vale per tutte le strutture dato che la luce è un optional. Arrivati in stanza però avremmo voluto non accendere la luce. La stanza era invasa di zanzare (che abbiamo sterminato ovviamente) ma ci siamo rese conto che la pulizia non era il massimo. Abbiamo sanificafo il più possibile con gli ingenizzanti che portavo con me. Che dire, ci siamo adattate, fortuna che la colazione era molto buona seppure non fosse a buffet
