Hotel la Grisa

We just spent 4 fantastic nights at Hotel La Grisa with our family (2 adults and 3 children). The reception was very professional, and there is free parking for guests 30-sec walk to the hotel. The hotel is a typical and sumptuous place, featuring a shaded patio between the walls for breakfasts and dinners. The second romantic and lovely terrace across the street offers a view of the village of Bale, adding to the perfection of the setting. We stayed in a family room, which was well-furnished, very clean, and had plenty of storage space, along with two bathrooms and a distant sea view. Our evening meals at the hotel's restaurant were sumptuous, with professional service and excellent wine recommendations from the sommelier. The village of Bale is charming with its exposed stone buildings. The hotel also arranged a meal for us at Bale's other extremely picturesque restaurant, Borghetto. Everything was perfect. And Rovinj is just a 15-minute drive away. Our only regret was having to leave this enchanting place this morning to continue our journey in Croatia. The various rave reviews for La Grisa on TripAdvisor are well-deserved; you MUST stay here if you wish to experience this magical retreat. Thank you to Jasmine and all her staff for making our stay a memorable one.

We were only there one night as we transitioned from Istria area to Zadar. Had we been traveling in September, this would have been a nice space to tour around the area. Free parking, easy to walk around the town and take in the shops that were still open. We really enjoyed the large room and nice quality breakfast.

This hotel was excellent throughout....there is nothing negative to say about it. Room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was perfect. The restaurant food was superb and all the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. A very enjoyable 5 day stay.

Very charming little hotel, very quiet, very clean. Extremely polite staffs. Very good breakfast. The rooms are very spacious and clean and comfortable. We are here twice a year, 10 years in a row. And we will come back again and again... highly recommended

Everything was just great, we really enjoyed. We would definitely go back. Room was perfect, breakfast too, spa not big but enough for relaxing, terrace is peace and quiet, great coffee. Staff was always available and ready to support. Great things that you have access to the beach camp like a guest of hotel.

Beautiful boutique hotel, excellent location, delicious breakfast, cosy ambience and interior, very clean. Free parking lot is a minute away. The downside is that the hotel does not have a lift for luggage and you have to carry them up to the room yourself. My friend and I booked superior room, which we didn't know was located just above the bar from the restaurant. In the evening, loud conversation lasts until late hours therefore, it is impossible to sleep with an open window.
