Amazing place! Fantastic spa and wonderful staff.

The rooms are OK with view on the water, large balcony The restaurant should be improved, plates quite bad, returned most. The “chef” told us he would do something but didn’t heard anything later on. Can hardly recommend.

We were staying in Bad Sachsa but not in the hotel. We thought this place is highly recommended so lets go there for dinner. This turned out to be a disappointing experience. First of all, when we came in with dripping coats and umbrellas we were just brought to our table, and we had to chase down staff so they could put them away in the cloakroom. Clearly not an issue with hotel guests. Next surprise was the very limited menu. There are 3 main dishes on the menu (hopefully a daily rotating one) and they have one soup of the day and one appetizer. Prices were not shown or mentioned. We were informed we had to pick the main dish and could get the soup and appetizer from the the buffet (again, there we no other choices). As we didn't like the 3 main dishes offered we learned they could also serve us a rumpsteak. No prices were mentioned (nor did I ask). We ordered a 34 euro bottle of wine to go with the steaks. When the waiter retuned she mentioned they did no longer had this wine but they had a good alternative, again no prices were mentioned (nor did I ask), but when we got the bill at the end this "good (for them) alternative" was with 58 euros almost double the price... The food was good and if you are a hotel guest staying for a number of days the very limited choice is of course no concern, but if you go there as a guest only for dinner this is weird. What also struck us as weird is that for some guest the waiter offered to get the items from the buffet, but this was not offered to everybody and most certainly it was not offered to us. We noticed that even some hotel guests were looking at this with surprise. The real surprise for us came when we were offered the bill. The rumpsteaks which were fine but not great and were 34 euros each, as mentioned above the wine turned out to be 58 euros, 4 euros for the water and 32 euros in total for the soup, appetizer and deserts coming to a total of 162 euros. Again the food was good but the overall experience, available choices and price-value are totally off. This was for me the 3rd night in a row I went for dinner with my wife, the first night we spent 400 euros and the food, drinks and service were fabulous, the second night we had dinner in Bad Sachsa for 70 euros and the food was good. This third night was the first one where i really did not get value for the price paid, so unless you are a hotel guest, don't go there for dinner.

Tolles freundliches Personal, mega Küche, gemütliche Zimmer. Lage wunderbar. Ein sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt. Wir können das Hotel wirklich weiter empfehlen. Highlight ist das schmackhafte Essen, die tolle Auswahl und der Service!!!

Junior-Suite im Toscana-Flügel 3.Stock großzügig, reichlich Platz, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ruhig, überdachter Südost-Balkon mit Sicht ins Tal, Schlafkomfort Spitze. Frühstück nach Qualität und Auswahlvielfalt in Ordnung. Menüs zeugen von gehobener Kochkunst. Personal durchweg freundlich, hilfsbereit und qualfiziert. Spa-Anwendungen haben wir nicht wahrgenommen, bis auf den Außenpool. Dieser ist angenehm temperiert, nicht überchlort, zum Schwimmen etwas kurz, ist aber wohl eine Folge der Hanglage. Parken des Pkw in einer Seitenstraße kostenlos.

Es war wunderbar! Auf alle wird geachtet und Rücksicht genommen. Der Service ist sehr nett und warmherzig! Wir konnten drei Tage fantastisch ausspannen. Auch sind die Unternehmungen, die man im Harz machen kann, sehr umfang- und abwechslungsreich! Das Hotel hat, wie es der Name sagt, wunderbar viele Ecken und Nischen, so dass sich alles verläuft und man immer wieder Neues entdeckt. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Ich durfte mit meiner besten Freundin ein Wochenende in diesem Hotel verbringen. WOW!!!!! Dieses Hotel ist mit einem Satz beschrieben, dort wohnt die LIEBE. Der Service und Wellness-Bereich ist unglaublich. Das Essen war fantastisch.Wir kommen wieder.
