Staff friendly and we had a great weekend. Fantastic breakfast and a central location. A little disappointed in our massages. Both were 30 mins long but we both felt that they were shorter than 30 mins. We were back in our room at 11:30 and massages were booked for 11am but started late. With dressing time the actual massages were more like 20 mins, which is short for 40€. If we went back I would not book a spa treatment.

We had an amazing family stay and enjoyed the delicious breakfast and amazing surroundings. It was very suitable for kids with the spa and the play ground nearby. It’s a beautiful place with lots of nice family activities.

An excellent hotel, great breakfast (bircher muesli to die for) lovely bedroom. All the staff were excellent and worked tirelessly to ensure I was completely satisfied with my stay. I would have no hesitation in going back again.

We stayed at the Vital Muhlon our way to Berlin. We used the hotel to explore the Harz mountains. We found the hotel very good the rooms are particularly spacious. The staff are very friendly. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we are visiting the area.

I gave this five stars mainly based on the wellness centre - most impressive. At least 6 different saunas, 2 indoor pools as well as the usual massage facilities. All included (apart from massage etc) in the price of the room. The hotel is situated in the middle of the small town - pleasant to walk around and lots of longer walks available from the hotel into the Harz National park. The rooms are alright - looking their age a bit and could do with some refurbishment. A few fittings in the bathroom were poorly maintained. Quite hard mattress but nevertheless comfortable. The personel were efficient and fairly friendly. I woouldn't class this as a 5 star hotel, it lacked the feeling of 'exclusivity' that such hotels are keen to foster - it's the little things that were missing/strange, e.g. battery operated candles throughout the hotel! Perhaps having some nuts along with the drinks at the bar; no champagne available. Breakfast was good, some pleasant home made salads and cakes/biscuits were a nice touch.

Wonderful and sophisticated wellness retreat in the heart of Germany. Very personal service and a good atmosphere all around. We felt very welcome and enjoyed every minute. Prices and amenities are kept in good balance. A family run, very personal hotel.

Preis und Leistung stehen in keinem Verhältnis. Bspw. die Handtücher und Bademäntel auf dem Zimmer waren verschlissen, die Zimmertür konnte man nur mit größter Kraftanstrengung öffnen, die Saunen sind zu klein, von einem Getränkeangebot im SPA Bereich ganz zu schweigen , den Ruheraum musste man mit der Wünschelrute suchen, a la carte Essen durften wir erst ab 20:30 Uhr einnehmen, frittierte Kartoffelschale wurde uns als Pommes Frittes angeboten, hier herrscht ein absoluter Investitionsstau, welcher einem 5 Sterne Haus nicht entspricht, hier ließe sich noch einiges schreiben…

Leider können wir die guten Bewertungen ncht teilen. Wir waren zu einem Kurztrip im Harz und sind auf das Mühl Vital Resort gestoßen. Der Empfang war zwar freundlich, aber es gab keine Begleitung zum Zimmer ( nur bis zum Fahrstuhl) und auch sonst keine weiteren Erklärungen (Restaurant, Wellnessbereich ect). Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Leider hatten wir den Eindruck, das das Personal sowie auch der Service, nicht gerade motiviert ist, Gäste zu bewirten. Der SPA Bereich war sehr gut ebenso die Bar. Dort waren Service und Getränke top. Kann es sein das in einem 4 Sterne Hotel nur jeden zweiten Tag gereinigt wird? Einsparungen, Personalmangel hin oder her. 4 Sterne geht auch anders.

Für den Abstellplatz für unseren PKW mussten wir 1 Stunde lang "kämpfen". An unserem Hochzeitstag hatte ich (Reinhard Wiekenberg) im blauen Salon einen Irish Coffee bestellt. Nach etwa 20 Minuten erhielt ich ein kleines Glas, in dem sich ein Schluck schwarzer Kaffee befand sowie eine Unmenge von Schlagsahne, die ich erst einmal abschöpfen musste, um an den Kaffee zu kommen. Den Irischen Whskey im Glas konnte ich kaum schmecken, so wenig wurde hineingetan. Obwohl jeder Barkeeper wissen müsste, wie man einen Irish Whyskey herstellt (das Rezept kann man übrigens auf jedem Smartphon schnell aufrufen, musste ich das Ergebnis dieses "Versagens" am Tag unserer Abreise mit vollem Preis bezahlen. Da soll mir nicht wieder passieren!! Etwas, das uns auch nicht gefallen hat, war die Helligkeit im Zimmer in der Zeit von 6.00 Uhr und 7.00 Uhr. Die Verdunklung im Schlafzimmer war derart desaströs, das unsere Nachtruhe (besonders nach der Feier der Walpurgisnacht) nicht mehr gewährleistet war. Die Gardienen und Übergardinen sowohl im Schlaf- als auch im Wohnzimmer lassen eine Verdunklung einfach nicht zu.
