Senator Hotel Apartments

Visit end of sept/beginning of oct) The apartments were a very good size, the aircon in the bedroom was really good and this was included in the price of the jet2 package holiday. Would definitely prefer a double bed instead of 2 singles though. Living area also large and kitchen with microwave, stove, etc. was good. Decor a little dated but doesn’t bother me. Check out at 12 was perfect timing not to have to rush. Location was perfect, near the motorway if you have a car and a short walk to the main ***** of restaurants/bars. I would say some of the walks to and from the bars/ restaurants are uphill so be mindful if you have reduced mobility. There is also no lift so have to take suitcases up stairs but this wasn’t a problem for me. The pools always had sun beds free even though a few people liked to go down early to leave towels to reserve. There was one or two nights when groups were a bit loud, one time all out at the pool at 3/4am but have to expect it a little bit so close to the *****. Apart from that I didn’t have any issues with noise over the 2 week stay. Car park at the hotel was useful but small so sometimes full, but normally room at the front if this was the case. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food but the cocktails were good at the pool bars. I would definitely stay again.

Can't speak more highly of this place. The staff are brilliant, the rooms are clean and tidy, and considering how close it is to the pubs and clubs it's quiet when it needs to be. Stayed here with my partner for 10 days as part of a holiday that also included the Cyprus-Scotland International. The hotel were more than accommodating for the football fans on arrival and the bar staff were extremely friendly. 10/10

Lovely place. We booked a superior one bedroom apartment with amazing aircon (which the kids loved), clean & adequate facilities for self catering. 2 nice pools for swimming or chilling. Sunbed are little uncomfortable & require updating or cushioning. Additionally as much as I like a little bit of Luther Vandross or Alexander O’Neal I have had my quota for this year & maybe a new playlist each day would be appreciated. Well done Senator Apartments a beautifully run family hotel 😊

Stayed here for a week with my friend on a girls holiday to aiya napa, couldn’t find a fault at all. We had a studio room, was huge for just the 2 of us. Everything you need, had a great view of the pool, the maids were on it! We didn’t decide on to go somewhere all inclusive as my friend is very fussy but we ate here the whole time! Lovely food and cheap prices, very convenient when you’re out all day and night and want to line the stomach. The staff were amazing in particular Siobhan and Nicos. We’re always friendly and made us feel so welcome we’re always there if we needed anything! I had an injury to my foot while I was there and they got me seen to right away and was checking on me. Will definitely be coming back to aiya Napa and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

The pool and the vibes were nice. The main advantage is its location directly next to a rental place for buggies and Atvs and most importantly a few minutes walk from the main pubs and clubs of ayia napa.

I requested for late checkout and the hotel refused to grant me

It was our second time staying in the Senator Hotel and it definitely will not be our last. From the moment I contacted reception regarding accommodation, the lovely Agathi was always so prompt with her responses and extremely helpful with any queues I had. We were placed in a lovely studio room overlooking the pool (hotel has two pools, one in the more lively area where you can order food and the second pool in the chill out area). Housekeeping was available every day and included fresh towels and bed linen change. The hotel has an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and fabulous cocktails (they also do happy hour) from early morning to late at night. A big shoutout to Sióbhan and Nikos. They work so hard in the restaurant and hotel complex. We ate several times there and food was always delivered in big portions and really tasty. Excellent value for money too. The highlight of our trip was on my 40th birthday. My sister surprised me by ringing the hotel a few days before hand to pay for a bottle of bubbly and chocolates to be delivered to our room on my birthday. Not only did the hotel deliver the surprise but they also provided another bottle of bubbly and birthday card from them. Such a kind gesture. Then at lunch, the lovely Sióbhan gave my fiancé and I dessert on the house. I was absolutely blown away by the generosity of staff at the Senator Hotel. Thank you so much all for making our trip so special.

Me and my partner decided to book to stay at this hotel as part of a package holiday via TUI & we were not disappointed! Had a few blunders, but all resolved by the rest of the amazing team! (I will elaborate the good & bad). The bad (which is hardly even bad). When we first arrived, we were 3 hours delayed and arrived at reception to a gentleman that did not even greet us, we felt like a burden. I was thinking this was perhaps the culture indifference so was not bothered to begin with however when we were checking in, our passports were taken and told they would be returned in the morning at about 10:00 - (even though we had photocopies of said passports to hand). The reasoning behind this was due to the printer not working, when we tried to elaborate we needed the passports for a rental car booking in the morning agreed with TUI, otherwise we could not get our vehicle we were told we still could not have them? I understand for legalities these are needed for information but it seemed very hostile, there was a clear language barrier and they were not returned until i confirmed i would go to another hotel unless returned. We did not see this gentleman again until the 5th night where he would glare at us as we walked by, and watch us through the windows straight faced when we returned from our night out which was bizarre but we didn't really let it bother us. The second day we were feeling quite tired, still jetlagged and at about 10:30am there was loud music coming from the back bar (i think this was bar 2) - It was not elaborated on the website this was a party place and there was nobody around the bar so we did complain about this, but this got resolved very promptly and did not happen again for the duration of our stay which was amazing to be listened to. I would have understood if there was lots of guests but it was a very chilled atmosphere and the music was very commercial (Sean Paul, Rhianna etc) and very bassy so we found it very hard to just relax. The Good The food, the atmosphere, the rooms & most importantly the people - Sam, Siobhan, Nicos, Kristof, the lovely chefs & maids. They all really made us feel at home. We got poorly on the first few nights of being in Napa so sought some advice from Siobhan who told us it could potentially be the ice cubes as some places use tap water as opposed to having machines which they do, and perhaps the salads too as they can be washed in tap water! From this point on we stayed clear from said things and started eating at the hotel, there was a wide range of food so i had something different each day and there was a great choice of British food also so my picky partner could have a burger each night lol - We're both very particular eaters, but each meal was absolutely bang on. They had freshly squeezed fruit juice and slushies too! The service was impeccable, from the point of ordering the food we would have it in front of us within 10 minutes tops, it was lovely that the chef would come

An unforgettable holiday in Ayia Napa has come to an end and during this week we resided at Senator Apartments Hotel which completed our holiday as it’s very comfortable, close to all amenities, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and mostly the kindhearted and friendly staff especially Nicos and his wife. Thankyou so much and We’ll surely come again.
