I’ve now stayed in this guest house on 2 occasions with different friends and family each time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Aviemore or the surrounding area. The staff are all lovely, the rooms very comfortable and clean and the location perfect.

This guesthouse is lovely and our room was really nice and surprisingly large compared to other guesthouses in which we have stayed on this trip around the UK. The guesthouse is in a beautiful location within the Cairgorms and within Aviemore it’s walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shopping. Great breakfast as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Ravenscraig Guest House last week. The room was perfect- modern and clean with a comfortable bed and high quality bedding. It was cold in Aviemore when we stayed but the room was lovely and warm- you could adjust the radiator yourself, so perfect for those like me that feel the cold! Breakfasts were delicious, all made with local produce and plenty of choice. All the staff were lovely- very helpful and friendly and we particularly enjoyed meeting Millie the cat. Would highly recommend this lovely Guest House. Thank you for your hospitality.

A perfect place to stop for a few days. A very friendly welcome by Helena. A perfectly clean room and bathroom with lovely high quality bedding. A great breakfast made to order from local produce. In a fantastic location. I would certainly recommend.

Amazing B&B for a perfect stay, the breakfast was delicious, the room and the common areas extremely clean, the bed very comfortable for a good sleep after a hiking day. Helena & Scott are amazing hosts that like to look after the place, hence the five star review for the place and the whole team.

Absolutely outstanding accommodation, extremely clean and lovely and comfortable rooms. Nice and quiet and the breakfast was just perfect with fresh produce and great portion sizes. The staff were lovely and friendly and couldn’t help out anymore if they tried. I would 100% return and recommend to anyone to stay here. Located in a lovely area of Aviemore and only a 5-10 minute walk to the railway station down the main road.

We would absolutely recommend Ravenscraig to anyone visiting Aviemore. The room was very nice - warm, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and plush towels. Helena was a lovely host - so friendly, and with great recommendations about local walks and where to eat. Breakfast felt like a real treat- not just the cooked part, but also the very nice selection of berries, yoghurts, and juice - and the breakfast area was so lovely in the morning sunshine. Thanks for having us!

Scott and Helena and their team have created a modern and inviting bnb in a city full of older accommodations. We stayed in one of the cabins behind the main house, the room had everything we needed, bed was comfortable and warm especially given how cold it can get in the Cairngorms. Breakfasts were filling and much appreciated in a city with few restaurants and the low season. Our 5 year old enjoyed meeting Mili, the family cat and chatting with Victoria and Elaine. Thank you!

The Ravenscraig guest house was a great base for my week long solo visit to Aviemore, Cairngorms NP, Speyside whisky region, and trip up to Inverness. Be sure to plan each day to begin with their wonderful breakfast. I would most certainly return for a second visit. The place is well equipped for those with gear hiking, walking, biking, etc. I used the lounge for a small amount for work I needed to accomplish during the week and male a phone call or two in the evening. The place is a short walk to the rail station, bus stop, and plenty of local restraunts, pubs, and shopping. It is also well located to begin a few hikes around town. I would recommend the Ravenscraig for solo visits, couples, and families. Operated by a great family and extremely welcoming hospitality.
