In the words of Bette Davis, “What a Dump.” In its favor, we had a nice view of Lady Bird Lake from our window, which was pretty to wake up to, and the water pressure in the shower was great! The bathroom seemed partially updated and was pretty decent. Free parking, too. There were a few HBO channels on tv. However, the hotel is very dated and not very clean looking. The indoor parking garage was filthy and was dimly lit. Didn’t feel very safe in there, so we parked in the outside lot whenever possible. No greeting from the night time desk clerk when we came back from dinner, as she seemed to purposely be avoiding eye contact with us (she wasn’t on the phone or busy with someone else). The elevators were very smudgy and too dark, also. The beds slumped a bit in the middle, the linens were old and tired looking, and the chair in the corner looked worse than some I’ve put by the curb. An old leak on the ceiling was poorly patched up, and there were stains on the desk chair, carpet and walls. The door to the adjoining room didn’t provide enough sound proofing, as I heard our neighbor’s phone convo loud and clear. The pool area didn’t look very inviting, as there were no umbrellas or trees to block the strong sun. We wanted to stay in downtown Austin to be within walking distance to things, so this was the least expensive option. But not much could be walked to from there, and the area it was in was a bit sketchy, so we ended up taking Ubers, anyway. We had booked our last night at a hotel in the Arboretum area, because this one went up to a ridiculously high amount for Friday night (music festival in town), and it ended up being just as convenient to take an Uber from there (15-20 mins) to downtown. Plus, the hotel was much nicer and way less expensive. Live and learn.

I would like to say that I am truly happy with Tip.com They are so far one of if not the best that i have come across has some of the best deal but Most of all they have shown bmw that they care about their customers.Now as far as my stay at Super 8 hotel 5526 N I-35 Austin Tx has been wonderful.the rooms are large clean and comfortable.the front desk staff are great housekeeping they really care about their jobs.and the customer.

We were just visiting Austin for the weekend. We booked 2 rooms with our friends and well it was the best experience ever. The stuff is so friendly specially Sonva. She knew it was my birthday and also the birthday of my friends so she treated us VIP and offered us drinks on the house. Thank you 💜

The hotel is clean and new. I like the design of the room. It looks modern. The location is good. It’s close to the highway so you can hear lots of noise at night. Overall it’s great value for the price.

Check in/out was extremely quick & easy. But please keep in mind that other than the hotel itself, there is absolutely nothing in the area within walking distance. With a short Uber ride you do however have access to a grocery store and other restaurants. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained. The lobby offers complementary coffee and fresh fruit daily. There is a pool, although we did not use it but it was kept clean. We did take advantage of their on-site barbecue grill which they were extremely accommodating for us to use. We even offered some grilled steak to the gentleman at the front desk. We made s’mores at their fire pit one night. Breakfast – was pretty basic with the usual waffle maker and eggs. My personal favorite were the premade mini omelettes. Those are definitely a keeper!! As for the room itself, it was also very clean and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a small kitchen as well. The bathroom however, I was not a fan of. We had very poor water pressure in our shower, The choice of shampoo and body wash was lemon sage which I did not really care for when there are so many other choices out there. Lack of towel hooks to hang things. Also the lack of a vanity mirror. I found trying to apply my make up in the morning was slightly difficult when I cannot get up close to a mirror. The body length mirror that they have near the kitchen has poor lighting so I could not really use that as an alternative. Also, the shower door in the bathroom is an extremely poor design. There is no actual sliding glass door that closes fully so water was constantly seeping out onto the floor and wetting our floor mat every time we took a shower. Overall our stay was extremely pleasant and I would stay here again in the future if there were more things within walking distance.

We just returned home from our trip to Austin, TX. We stayed at the Hotel Viata. What a wonderful experience. Everything about the Hotel was top quality. The employees were so kindhearted, professional and efficient. The Hotel was recently renovated into an Italian themed decor which is beautifully designed. The rooms are large suites, with a kitchenette, living room, French doors into the bedroom, a walk-in closet with a dresser, lock box, white robes, slippers, and plenty of room to hang clothes. The bathroom was huge with a walk in shower where four people could fit into, double sinks, and a closet with the toilet for privacy. Two large TV’s, a desk, The views are scenic. The Hotel is up on a hill side, away from the traffic, hustle and bustle. Then there is a full Spa section, for massages, body treatments, facials and more, with beautiful spa and soothing music playing, and a lovely scent pumped through the vents. A spectacular pool area and hot tub, with a bar and seating area where you can order food and drinks. Cabana’s if you want privacy and plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The fitness room is very nice as well. There is also a restaurant and bar, that has an outdoor seating area with a fire place, which is very inviting. We didn’t personally eat there, with talking to other guests they all said that the food is really good. The Hotel is so very peaceful, luxurious, quiet and clean. We highly recommend this resort like Hotel, and personally look forward to returning here when we come back to Austin. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Our family spent the weekend here for a soccer tournament, and the front desk staff were amazing in accommodating our changing tournament schedule. Very helpful and friendly at all hours! We also enjoyed being close to the university during a UT game! An A+ hotel for downtown Austin!

The check-in and out was smooth. Our stay is ok, the room is quite small but bed is comfy. The breakfast option was nice but the next day, we woke up a bit late, we joined buffet breakfast at 8:30AM but most of the food were gone and was not replaced. The location is good, near N. Lamar Ave and I-35 which is accesible to Downtown Austin.

Last minute search for a rooms as I would be attending TASSP conference in Austin and our campus secretary found this chain. I arrived late to the hotel and it became a whose on first skit with the clerk. After that crazy chasing of my tail happened, I had a choice park on the street ot lay $30 a night in the hotel parking area. Walking into my room on the second floor and you get that very old carpet and stale air. It's best if you take your soap and shampoo and most importantly your shower shoes don't walk barefooted in the room. The room has an ironing board and iron but the board is not steady. The temperature in the room can be at extremes so careful when you adjust the temperature. This hotel is a long walk from convention center and you need to pass homeless area. I didn't have a good experience at this hotel.
