Had a booking made in September for a friends wedding, had to send through a scan of passport and credit card details to secure booking, which was fine. Checked that booking was OK in September. Got an alert 2 weeks before check in that I needed to provide CC details again or the booking would be cancelled. Contacted them via email with transaction details of full booking fee from my credit card, got told they'd look in to it. Didn't get a reply. Checked with them a week before, got told their system was down and they'd reply in the morning. Didn't get a reply. Followed up again asking them to confirm the booking as they had taken the full room cost charge back in September, no response. Got a notification 2 days before the booking that it was cancelled. Contacted them again as I had paid for the booking in full already. Got a response saying that my card was flagged for fraud and they couldn't process the booking. I asked if I could use another card (even though my card was fine for every other accommodation of a month long vacation) and how it was flagged for fraud when I'd verified with my passport, paid in full and charged months ago. Never received a reply. Non-professional, bad communication, and left me high and dry out of pocket 2 days beforehand. My hunch is that because there was a college football game on the weekend I was due to arrive, they resold the room. Anyhow, something doesn't add up - avoid at all costs.
