This is an excellent place to stay if you're transiting through Auckland airport. Being an exceptionally easy, 2 minute walk from the international terminal means that you're not having to juggle shuttle buses and whatnot. Staff are friendly and attentive, and the rooms have everything you could need for an overnight stay. The whole place feels fresh and new. Highly recommend.

The resort is located by the sea and has a beautiful surroundings. From the room, you can see the sea and the black beach. The rooms are spacious, tall and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Although breakfast was included, I went to dinner at nine o'clock and there was almost nothing, and no more food such as juice yogurt, no one cleaned the table, so I stopped going to breakfast the next day. The service for dinner was very good.

Booked two or three months ago and charged me a 2% handling fee for a total of 580+ RMB. Looking at the price half a month before departure, there is no handling fee for the price reduction of 100+. Looking at the price a few days before departure, the price reduction is almost 200 ... I want to refund and re-book , Ctrip failed to negotiate with the merchants. So clean, comfortable, lovely and full of greeneries with a garden and a little fountain. Good value and a pleasant surprise! Feels like a nice countryside stay but with good bedding, pillows and service.

I didn't have high expectations for such a large chain hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was quite decent and the sea view was great. It was better than the Park Hyatt I stayed at after driving to North Island. Although there was a large cruise ship blocking the view on the first night, I had never seen such a large cruise ship before, so I found it very interesting. After the cruise ship departed, the magnificent harbor view came into view.

Location was central but also right above very loud clubs/bars, which meant that it was extremely loud at night (past midnight). We stayed on the 6th floor which felt like the hallway was not part of the building with two mechanical/service doors open. Room and service was fine.

Location is convenient for day tours pickup & airport transfers. Set back is toilet flooring too slippery if wet.

Great stay at the grand in Auckland. Ideal location and superb spa. Highly recommend for a quick trip to yeh city.

From check in to check out everyone I dealt with was so polite and helpful! The Duty Manager Lucas was so accommodating when I requested to extend my stay due to family circumstances. The buffet breakfast was a delicious spread of all things breakfast! Room service was fast and the food arrived hot! The location is perfect to all Auckland City amenities. And the Rose Gardens across the road are a perfect morning stroll.
