My boyfriend and I flew from Brazil to Greece for vacation. Our first stop was in Athens. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the hotel we had booked, Lux and Easy Signature Syngrou 234, a problem occurred, and the hotel was fully booked. We were exhausted at this point after a long flight, and the time was around 1 am. Our cellphones were running low on battery, and the worst part was that the receptionist at this hotel didn't care about us or even let us make a call to another hotel to inquire about available rooms. It was such a bad first experience to see the receptionist not even trying to help with the minimum. So, we decided to walk around with our heavy luggage on the street to look for another hotel. Fortunately, we arrived at Athens Avenue Hotel, and while the hotel was also fully booked, what was amazing was the difference in professionalism. Vangelli, the receptionist, immediately called other hotels nearby to find rooms available for us. This attitude changed everything because we were so tired that we couldn't even think properly. So, I would like to say thank you to Vangelli for showing such empathy in our situation and for being such a good professional. I definitely recommend this hotel because of him.
