We visit this place regularly in Somers since many years and were never disappointed. Managed and run by a professional, experience and polite team. For me simply the best holiday hotel I know in Switzerland. Heiri recommended. We will definitely be back.

Five Star Hospitality! My husband and I escaped for a week to Canton of Ticino. We stayed at three different locations which were each special in their own way. However, as we drove away from Hotel Ascovilla we decided if we had started at this hotel we would never have made it to the other two …it definitely stood out! From the location, which was a quick walk to downtown, to our room, which was comfortable, clean, and very stylish ,to the staff, which were very professional at the same time extremely warm and welcoming. We usually do not eat most of our meals at the hotel we stay at, but we ended up doing two of our three suppers …the food/presentation/atmosphere was superior. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable! I know we will be back. The Hollands

Just perfect, friendly and welcoming with the personal touch. Fantastic room, the view from the balcony of the garden was lovely and peaceful. Great food and the staff went out of their way to be helpful offering advice on places to visit. Our first time at the Ascovilla hopefully it won’t be the last.

The Hotel is the perfect balance between a touch of luxury and familiar atmosphere. The rooms are contemporary but warm, as well as the restaurant and other spaces. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Pool and Garden are beautiful and private. Very quiet during night since no car traffic around. 2 minutes walf to the promenade. Great stay.

A very well run hotel. The very pleasant owner lady is hands on and liable to turn up anywhere! Well equipped modern room. Close to both the lake and the centre of Ascona. Excellent inclusive Dinner. Before we arrived we’d contemplated upgrading to the a la carte one night but there’s really no need - it’s very good quality and charged out to package guests at CHF50 per person - you really don’t get much for that in Switzerland these days!! The hotel laid on a complimentary taxi to & from Locarno station - a nice touch. All in all a lovely end to our holiday.

A beautiful semi-secluded hotel away from the hassle & bussle but close enough with a 5 minute stroll to be at the lake and centre of Ascona. Service in the hotel was very friendly, staff and managers are very welcoming and we were very well taken care of during our entire stay. Breakfast is great and caters for everyone’s taste - and we ate twice dinner and both time it was excellent with attentive and friendly service. Most impressed with the General Manager Mrs Margot Faucherre who seems to present 7/111 and helping out whenever a helping hand, advice or information was needed. Whenever I’ll be in Ascona again this will be definitely the hotel i’ll be staying again - Loved it 💕

We are very satisfied with the quality of accommodation, food and service. The suites are very spacious and the staff keep the rooms in immaculate condition. We took the half-board/golf package, a great way to end (or start) the season. Thank you for the excellent experience, we will be back soon.

We had a most pleasant stay in the lovely sourroundings of the Ascovilla. The room was lovely and extreme clean, as was everywhere else in the hotel. The garden was beautiful an the pool exellent. Staff was exremely friendly and helpful. The only remark would be that price is a bit on the high side.

This is such a super hotel.Margot Faucherre and her team always make us feel welcome and looked after. It has an exceptionally lovely swimming pool.The bedrooms are very comfortable with lovely pillows. We arrived a day earlier than originally booked - thank goodness for a cancellation.No fuss was made and we we were given a room and we had dinner in the restaurant- fantastic food , excellent service.We did not feel rushed. Thank you Margot as ever for your good nature wonderful welcome and all your hard work.You have a super team- you could give lessons on management to a lot of businesses. The hotel has a beautiful garden too with wonderful mature trees and flowers and an easy walk into Ascona itself
