Hôtel Kyriad Libourne - Saint Emilion

The gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful, especially the one in the evenings. The cleaning staff was also helpful, and the food at the hotel was very good. So was the service. I stayed in a room with a nice view of the garden and swimming pool, and the room came with a bathtub. Unfortunately the conditions of the air-conditioner/fan were overlooked, as it was full of dust. And the senior lady at the front desk just threw the items to be recycled away, after being told that they were for recycling. She could have said no and not to take them instead.

We booked this hotel for two nights last week. A family room for myself, my husband and my young daughter. On entering the room there was a strong drain smell which was coming from the bathroom. The room itself was tired to say the least and damp in the corners. The bathroom was not clean. This alone would’ve been enough however, we did not get a winks sleep as there was terrible scraping chair noises throughout the night ( there is no carpet) from the room above and chatter until 5 am. I am presuming this was a staff room of some description. On the Sunday morning we woke a little later due to lack of sleep. A sign on the hotel room wall indicated breakfast would be served until 10 am. We walked into the breakfast room at 9:25 am and were told by the receptionist that we were too late and breakfast was only served until 9:30 am, I pointed out that I had read in the room 10 am and was told I was wrong. We were able to go in for five minutes but they cleared breakfast buffet away around us so felt incredibly under pressure. Needless to say we checked out after one night. we have stayed in many budget hotels before, but this was very poor indeed.

De passage pour un après midi et une nuit sur la route du trajet de retour de vacances. Hôtel très agréable ,personnel très accueillant et disponible,le plus cette piscine et ce petit coin extérieur au calme Les chambres sont spacieuses. Petit restaurant le soir très bon a des prix abordables et le petit déj au top.
