The hotel opened in 2019. The design and facilities in the room are very new. The safe does not need to enter the password every time, and the makeup 🪞 is also automatically dimmed. The design and decoration color matching of the hotel are very fashionable. The view from the rooftop bar is very good. If you miss the dinner time, you can have a light meal there and enjoy the Meru Mountain opposite, which is said to be the second highest mountain in Tanzania. The only shortcoming of the hotel is that the city view room is very close to the hotel's equipment room and the noise is very loud. It's okay to close the balcony door during the day, but people who are sensitive to noise at night should not choose the city view room.

The environment is beautiful, clean and hygienic, the front desk is very good and late check-out until two o'clock in the afternoon, breakfast is not very rich, but you can eat. Tanzan blue is sold in the lobby but there are not many varieties. The most important thing is that when the hotel goes out and turns left along the wall, there is a Chinese restaurant. It takes less than five minutes to walk. The owner is a Shanghainese. The food is cheap and delicious. The owner also does tourism projects and is very nice.

I stayed at the Arusha Sheraton before, when prices were not so high. Come back now, the environment is still good, but the decoration facilities have not changed much. At the same price, it is no longer possible to stay in the same room type [previously booked without Ctrip]. The hotel's breakfast is good, with many varieties and choices. The lunch buffet at US$20 per person is much more cost-effective than before. If I come back again in the future, as long as the price is right, I will continue to choose here.

We stayed at the Serena hotel for a couple of nights when we first arrived in Tanzania. We arrived late, about 21:30 but were still offered a full 3 course meal in the restaurant. Food was great, we have not had a bad meal anywhere in Tanzania during the whole trip. The grounds and views are really nice. There’s even a 642 metre running loop around the gardens to work off all the food you’ll eat here. The room was nice, spacious, clean and great views across the lake. We only gave 4 stars as the room was a little tired, windows didn’t shut properly, the lock in the patio doors didn’t unlock and the restaurant and bar always tried to make you pay cash. There’s card facilities only at the hotel reception and they seemed put out if asked to pay this way. As we only brought cash for tips (which is expected everywhere) we wanted to keep that separate. The last road to the hotel is a little bumpy to say the least. Our driver joked we would get the ‘African Massage’

The room is clean and tidy, the front desk service is very enthusiastic, the breakfast dishes are rich, and the location of the hotel is also good. It is very suitable for business trips. I will consider staying next time I come to Istanbul.

Deux backpackers en voyage pour 2 mois en Afrique de l'est, nous avons trouvé dans cet hôtel un accueil particulièrement agréable, les gens très souriants, un lieu paisible pres de la gare routière. Ils ont gardé nos sacs pendant que nous étions en safari. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement !!! Très bon prix, Wi-Fi et petit-déjeuner compris. Merci à toute l'équipe !

nice hotel- friendly and helpful staff- excellent location to stay when visiting the Mt Kilimanjaro area. Offers free breakfast with typical breakfast food. They do laundry- very inexpensive and they ironed everything. I look forward to returning

This is probably the best Indian food I have tasted. The menu is so big I was suspicious that they would be able to deliver on everything but they did and it is all delicious and fresh. Great vegetarian and vegan choices and my partner assures me the meat is as good. All this and amazing value, great customer service and beautiful quiet gardens right in the middle of Arusha. Had a look round the hotel today too and if retro is your thing I would definitely recommend it!! So this would be my No 1 choice in Arusha. Treat yourself. Travelling to Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, Via Ngorongoro and Masai Mara, has been amongst the best experience for the group of 6, for whom Abu and his team had so thoughtfully curated arrangements. Food compulsions were attended to in detail and travel arrangements and stay arrangements were far excellence, attention to details was outstanding, and very importantly the personal care and oversight extended by Abu, Jayesh and his team were truly outstanding. Anybody making their first trip to Africa the go to team should be Abu/Jayesh.
