The Tschuggen Grand Hotel in Arosa is truly a masterpiece of hospitality and luxury. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how incredibly warm and welcoming the entire staff was. Every interaction, from the concierge to the housekeeping team, was filled with genuine care and professionalism. The hotel manager was absolutely outstanding, personally ensuring that our stay exceeded every expectation and making us feel like truly valued guests. The restaurant staff were equally remarkable – every waiter went above and beyond, combining impeccable service with friendly smiles that made every meal feel like a special occasion. The rooms were breathtaking – spacious, beautifully designed, and outfitted with every comfort imaginable. They were the perfect sanctuary after long, activity-filled days. Speaking of activities, the private ski lift reserved exclusively for hotel guests was a standout feature. It whisked us up to an incredible ski and sledding area with panoramic views, complete with a fun bar and delicious restaurants at the top. This convenience and exclusivity made our ski experience absolutely seamless and unforgettable. The dining at Tschuggen Grand was a feast for the senses. Every meal was a testament to culinary artistry, and the attentive restaurant team made each experience feel personalized and indulgent. Whether it was a perfectly cooked dish or a thoughtful wine pairing, they ensured we felt cared for with every bite. We were also blown away by the array of activities offered by the hotel. From an invigorating snow hike to a serene snow yoga session, a cold water plunge in a pristine mountain lake, and dynamic workout classes, every experience was made unforgettable by Nikolaos, our incredible guide and instructor. His energy, expertise, and passion for what he does brought each activity to life, leaving us inspired and energized. The spa was simply stunning – a haven of modern design and tranquility. Every moment spent there was rejuvenating, and it’s easily one of the most beautiful spas we’ve ever experienced. Every detail of our stay was meticulously thought out, and the exceptional staff elevated it to a whole new level. The Tschuggen Grand Hotel is not just a place to stay – it’s an experience of pure luxury, warmth, and adventure. We cannot wait to return to this magical oasis in the heart of the Alps!

Rarely experienced so friendly, set and pleasant staff. The food was very good. Breakfast offers everything it needs for a good start in the day. Even salmon is offered every day. (Mira cooks the perfect eggs. Beautiful osterns🐰 ) We had booked the half-pension and every evening two 4-fold menu were offered to choose. The rooms are quite cozy, large and very clean. The bathroom has enough storage for hygiene and cosmetics. The only manco, no real shower this was in our room in the bathroom. The parking service worked best and the own hotel bus is regularly travelling to the skilift stations. The wellness facility was not used by us. All in all a very good price /Leistung ratio.

We stayed there over new year's for a ski vacation and head a very mixed experience. One thing to keep in mind that this is large, family-oriented property. Where the place false short is the lack of any guest experience, especially given the high rates. You walk in and they hand you the keys, and thats pretty much it. Very little follow up on inquiries and practically no help (where to eat, ski, rent, store skis - all the basics). All our requests went unanswered (usually with a boiler plate email response written by an intern). No phones in the room so any inquiry requires a trip to the front desk where there is a large of group in line or it is unstaffed. We wanted some help planning NYE but no one really cared to help but they still charged us for their in-house party (which we were told was sold out) which they eventually removed. No big deal but it the lack of attention/ care that made our stay not great. Location: decent but its a solid walk down/ uphill with skis. Rooms: on the small side, especially for a ski holiday. Breakfast buffet is a large cafeteria style hall - no one really there to assist. Not a particularly nice experience. Customer service: very poor to non-existent. I would not stay there again. Did the job for a last minute holiday but totally unmemorable.
