Sarova Shaba Game Lodge

Très tranquille mais clôturé alors si l’on ne réserve pas un safari, on s’ennuie. De plus il faut payer les taxes exorbitantes pour accéder au parc, donc à l’hôtel!

I stayed at Sarova Shaba from May 10th to 12th, 2024, and had an overall wonderful experience. The staff were exceptional, the facilities were excellent, and the proximity to the reserves and parks was ideal. However, I encountered a challenge with the food as it wasn’t clear which allergens were present in the meals. I suggest indicating allergens next to the dish names for clarity. Aside from this, I thoroughly enjoyed everything, including the live music performances by Pius every night during dinner. Special thanks to Claudia and Njaû for their patience and prompt service.

First when you get to this hotel look for Chef Steven & Chef Robert, These two made my stay easy and they were good at listening to my small concerns.... If the owner/manager is reading this please upgrade them from their current position/ranks....I rate them 10 star anytime!.... Look for Sabina who works at the curio shop,she is the best in delivering the best curio you ever want.... I have enjoyed with my family and would advice anyoe to come here anytime!!!.... Adios!...

The most amazing experience. Really fantastic must visit destination. The kids could not have enough of the chefs delicacies. Shout out to Chef Stephen and the sweet Claudia. We have honestly gained weight.

My third time coming back to Sarova Shaba Game Lodge and the experience is nothing short of excellent. The staff are warm and welcoming, the ambience is wonderful and we are just happy to be back. My highlight of our first day was during dinner and my 9 year old daughter was mesmerized by the gentleman singing and playing the guitar. She approached him to say hi and the gentleman went an extra mile to have my daughter try and play the guitar. My daughter was over the moon. Thank you for creating such a warm place for our families.

Set by the banks of the great Ewaso ngiro river at the borders of Isiolo & Samburu counties in Kenya is the beautiful Sarova Shaba Game Lodge. The melodious tunes of the chirping birds and the roaring of the river provides a harmonious & therapeutic feel. The beautifully manicured lawns, the indigenous trees and the many springs provides a aesthetic vibe leaving one relaxed and fully connected to nature. A visit to SSGL and a park drive cures ones curiosity of the big 5 and the special 5, leaving one lost in the ecstatic satisfaction of experiencing cats hunting. Offering delicious Kenyan authentic cuisines and the ever cheerful Chef Stephen will leave you yearning for another day at this gem. Sarova Shaba Game Lodge is indeed a beautiful Oasis.!

If you want relaxation, stay at the Sarova Shaba Lodge. It's quiet and welcoming. The restaurant is located high up among the trees. There is plenty of wildlife, including birds, monkeys, fish, turtles, and if you're lucky, a crocodile might join you for dinner! The pool is luxurious, an oasis on a hot day. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, a mix of European and African dishes for you to try. The staff are fantastic, really attentive. They take time to welcome and talk to you. The service was first class. Security is always patrolling the lodge to make sure everyone is safe 24/7. I want to say thank you to Moses Ekale, who provided great customer service with a big smile! The road up to the lodge can be difficult, especially if it's rained. I would recommend a 4x4 vehicle. The rooms could do with decorating and updating, especially the bathrooms. That being said, it didn't detract from the holiday and is only a minor observation. The spa was closed due to staff illness, so I didn't get a chance to use the facilities. The prices looked good value for money. The lodge has a gym located in an unused bedroom. I don't think it's used very often. It's dusty, and some electrical sockets and lights have exposed wiring! It was an awesome experience, and I hope to visit again. Thanks, especially to all the staff who made it memorable.

Amazing place, really enjoyed my stay!!!! Great food, very friendly staff, and the rooms, ohThat Matress is to die for!! There are plenty of activities to keep everyone busy. From game drives, swimming, fish foot therapy.. I will definitely be back!

Best visit ever! The hotel has the freshest air, great ambience, the river is so swollen and fast this season. Lots of variety on the food and an amazing chef (Stephen). Oh and the beds are so fluffy.... I would absolutely return with more family and friends.
