I have just returned from a weeks stay and here is my review GOOD The location is amazing - it has the feel of an old Sardinian village with stone buildings and cobbles. The views are fabulous. The nearby beaches are on a par with the Caribbean, soft white sand, gently sloping to warm clear sea and a good choice of beach restaurants and bars but during my holiday they all shut around 4pm. You will need a tax or a car as they are not really within walking distance. The coffee in the restaurant is lovely and there is a lot of choice. The baristas really know their stuff and this was a highlight. There is a small farm and the animals )goats, sheep etc) are great for children and are well care for. The main swimming pool which is near the beach bar is spotlessly clean, warm and the loungers are very comfortable. There were plenty for everyone when I was there. Great place if you are sporty as there are lots of tracks for running, cycling, hiking etc. NOT SO GOOD This is not a great resort if you have mobility issues. There are no lifts, the steps can be uneven and there are a lot of cobbles. Although there are staff with buggies you cannot get anywhere without climbing a lot of steps. There is no evening entertainment except for a man with a guitar who sometimes plays covers until around midnight. If your room is close by you may need to get moved (we did) as this is very loud. The rooms can be very dark, the furniture is dated and there are no luxury touches like coffee, irons etc and none of the rooms I saw had balconies. Our bathroom was tiny. The buffet is standard fare and if you are vegetarian you will have problems and if you are vegan you will starve!!! The beaches at the resort are rocky, difficult to get to and not great for swimming unless you are very confident. There is a sister resort which you can bus too however this looks pretty dated and in need of a refurb. If you like to do a bit of shopping when on holiday then there is just one small shop on the resort. There are no other shops nearby and there are only a couple of bars in the village which is about a 15 minute walk away. As far as I could make out there was no public transport so if you like to explore off the resort then you need a hire car. All in all I enjoyed my stay however and loved Sardinia however next time I would prefer to stay in a more modern Hotel in a more buzzy part of the Island with some evening entertainment or interesting nightlife as the resort did feel quite isolated
