The apartment "Kirchblick" is a vacation apartment in the 2020/21 renovated former stable of the rectory Dewitz (Taucha).The old loam cellar building was provided with a new roof and converted into an ideal vacation domicile according to ecological principles and with great pleasure in artistic design and attention to detail.The center of life is the large eat-in kitchen with huge gable window and long sitting window seat. It is the place for a perfect dinner, long game evenings in a large group or relaxed reading hours.The large bedroom with 2 (+2) sleeping arrangements and the cozy bunk room with double bed are extremely quiet. Kitchen and much of the furniture are custom made and fitted. The mosaic style floor made from old roof tiles is unique.It is a pet friendly apartment. The villa was built in 1930 by the furrier, Ch. Max Romahn built. He lived in it with his family and employees. In GDR times it was a kindergarten and then a pharmacy. Today we live on the ground floor of the renovated apartment building and rent the two apartments on the upper floor and the attic if we do not need them ourselves or are not rented out as furnished apartments in the long term.We look forward to welcoming you to our green oasis surrounded by old trees in the middle of downtown Schkeuditz and only 15 minutes from the center of Leipzig.The light-flooded apartment on the upper floor of the old villa has its special charm due to the romantic balcony and the old parquet floor. The first bedroom has a double bed and a table with two chairs. The second is a bit more spacious and has a separate single bed with a seating area in addition to the double bed.
