Perfect holiday for whole family! Room was near the beach, pool,theatre,snack bar, terrace view was on palm trees,green and blossom bushes- ideal place for relax. Hotel was clean,service was on high level,staffs were smiling in every cases,were very kind for everyone. First hotel where we had in all - inclusive drinks like pinacolada,tequila sunrise,kir royal etc. Hotel is near Chersonisos,so It is nice walk there. Beautiful beach with lifeguard, very comfortable beach loungers with beach umbrellas. Animation program was through whole day,so if children or parents were bored,they could choose some activity to do. Food- soups, different types of meat, vegetables, fruit, smoothies, salads, desserts- everyone was satisfied,everyone chose what likes. We enjoyed It very much and want to go back there again!

We just finished a four night stay at Mitsis Laguna and can’t wait to go back. We stayed in the Royal Suite which was a total splurge and completely wonderful. But the property as a whole is very well designed so every room is convenient to everything. The walkout pool rooms and ocean view rooms all looked fantastic as well. Even though we arrived with no dinner reservations and the resort was fully booked, the concierge got us reservations for exactly what we wanted. Our favorite was the Cretan restaurant — the food was amazing and our service (Thursday June 15 was exceptional!!!). The main restaurant (buffet) was very good as well and even in peak hours we never waited more than a couple minutes to be seated. Incredible! We also loved that there is late night buffet food served until 4am along with a late night bar — we were never up quite that late but we did arrive at midnight hour first night and were thrilled to be able to eat hot food! The central pool is heated and an absolute delight to swim in. Seats fill up but we were still always able to snag one whenever turned up. The beach is just at the edge of the property and gorgeous — if a bit choppy for actual swimming! The food cart by the beach though was fantastic, and we hit it every day. We also loved the ice cream shop by the pool. You can rent a car at a desk in the hotel for a day or more easily — was about 60 euros and we drove the 30 minutes to visit the Palace of Knossos, admiring the coastal views along the way. Our daughter also truly loved the magic show (kudos to Rocco the magician!) and the really great arcade. This is a fantastic resort. Even though it’s a large property, you are always just steps away from whatever you need and never feel like you’re part of a crowd. The service from literally everyone is so wonderful. I am writing this from the airport and we are sitting here planning our next Mitsis vacation. Highly recommend.

We booked this hotel as a couple in our early thirties after seeing how popular it was in social media and from recommendations, we went to Mayia exclusive resort in Rhodes last year and were told that Stella Island was on the same level, it was not. Pros Very nice looking place with decks over the water etc Buffet breakfast was nice, lots to choose from, fresh orange juice in the mornings was nice. Cons On arrival we were told to download the app to check in, we were asked if we would like a drink which we did but were made very clear we could only have this one if we wanted another we would have to pay, downloaded the app, clicked the button to check in and that was it, no information on restaurants we could use, how many times we could use them, where the bars or restaurants were literally nothing, our bags were loaded onto a buggy and we were driven to the room. We were shown how to switch the air con on and that was it. First few days sat around the pool next to the cabana bar, the service was so slow, out first day was 37 degrees and the woman came around 3 times all day to take drinks orders! she then told my partner the next day it was too hot for her to take orders and in that heat we don't get the best service!! Frequently bought over the wrong drinks around the pool, over the first few days this happened at least once a day, drinks we didn't order, drinks we ordered but were made wrong etc, we then moved to the pool area next to reception and the service was much better, still don't come around often enough to take your order but it was better. Asian restaurant, waited 30 minutes for our food to then be told our food had been given to another table and ours would be another 10 minutes, what?? Next night steak restaurant, we ordered the sharer steak, we were half way through our dinner when they came and told us this isn't our steak we ordered, took it away and waiting another 5 minutes for what we actually ordered to arrive!! Second time we went to the steak restaurant we waited 25 minutes for a drink as they had 1 bartender to the steak and Asian restaurant, then my partners dessert came which wasn't what he ordered so had to wait another 10 minutes for his dessert to come. The buffet for dinner was so small there was barely anything there unless you wanted bread salad or sauces. Cocktails and beer are vile, the cocktails are syrup over ice you could only have 1 as more than that would give you horrific heartburn, the beer was so watered down, if you wanted a Mythos you had to pay for it as it was on the 'premium drinks menu' Service was so so slow, once night we waited near on 30 minutes for someone to come over and take our drinks order, you try to go to the bar to order and they will tell you to sit down and someone will take your order!! No snack bar to get something small throughout the day like ice cream etc The shower room was awful on our last day, its a shared room with 2 showers and 3 toilets men and women's, the doors ar

the hotel is old. some areas (such as the pool and territory) have been repaired and are in good condition. but there are disadvantages typical for old buildings - such as the lack of sockets in the bedside area. semi-working TV, with non-working remote control. the minibar is also in this condition - whether it works or not. the bathroom is clean but very old. cleaning and towel change - from time to time or as you remind. Wi-Fi in the rooms is very weak and volatile. near the reception is better. the hotel is located near the crossroad, from the beach area it is separated by a highway. from good features - breakfast is delicious. the large selection of beaches - wild and commercial, in ten minutes. several cafes and mini-markets are nearby, but in general there are no interesting restaurants in the village, you have to go to the city. by the way, there is the city bus to Heraklion (about every half hour), it is cheaper to buy tickets in advance at city kiosks. to the city center - 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. on the way there is also an airport on the way to Heraklion.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Heraklion.. the efficient young dynamic staff , from reception to breakfast and restaurant to roof, are just 10 and praises ... At the reception (a blonde girl with blue eyes I don't remember the name) very kind and friendly and professional about the city management , breakfast boys careful of the needs and demands (incredible remembered the city perfect in the days following the first request ), the latest-stage restaurant boys and exceptional cooks and cooks .. If I return to Candia, it will be the only hire I will consider! I have read incredible reviews (like ”no bidet”: boys, stay in Italy!) and unfounded. The room was clean and washing room was clean and washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing room washing I never enjoyed breakfast, I prefer a powder of orange in one of the central coffees. Yes, it's vintage, it's 80s, but at €36 per night you can do!

The hotel is in an excellent location to explore Iraklion. There is a good restaurant, called Xayiati, directly opposite serving delicious Greek food and there is a wide choice of restaurants in the city centre a short walk away. The rooms were modern, spacious and comfortable with plenty of electric sockets and a kettle to make hot drinks. The breakfast was very good. There was lots of choice. The food was set out to allow social distancing and gloves and hand sanitiser were provided. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was a car park a few metres away which the hotel has a special arrangement with so that guests pay a discounted rate.
